If it's only 15k you might be able to find a friend or family member to loan you the money on repayment terms you like. Many people like to extend these loans to people they trust as they don't declare the interest received on their taxes. Of course you also can't declare the interest paid. Both parties win but the IRS loses.

I would still call some agency and see if this "company" is legit. I understand you want it to be legit and solve your problem but I don't think you are doing enough research to protect yourself.

How much money would the small loan be and are you prepared to lose that money if it is a scam? Still think it's a scam. Would calling the Better Business Bureau and asking them about this company be a possibility?

Would that money be in a check? If so i bet that check bounces after you pay them with a prepaid visa card. I say BIG SCAM.

For me bars are for listening to music and bathhouses are for sex. I love roaming around bathhouses and watching guys. Bathhouses are safer then taking a guy home. Never was into the sleeping over thing. Best part is in a bathhouse if the guy isn't as great as you thought he would be you pick up your towel and go searching again.

A guy who worked near me also lived near me. I would see him walking the same route to work every day. Got in the habit of waiting a few minutes to see if he would show up and then follow him just because he had the cutest butt. Never introduced myself. Just enjoyed the view. Made going to work so much fun.

The guy is probably someone who works in the neighborhood and has seen you before and thinks you're hot. He probably usually sees you running for the subway and this time saw his one chance to talk to you. He was probably nervous and didn't present himself well.
