  1. I would hire Reece Scott in a flash but, alas, I don't think he escorts
  2. The Cathedral of St John the Divine in NYC now has an admission fee. I don't mind that because churches that are open for free all day long usually end up as hang outs for homeless people. In London, Westminster Abbey and St. Paul's Cathedral charge an admission. The fact is these huge churches have annual budgets in the tens of millions of dollars and the people throwing $2 in the collection plate on Sunday morning cannot sustain them.
  3. Room 91 with the jewels and tiaras was some nice eye candy for me. Also rooms 65-69 for English silver
  4. I watched "Maurice" yesterday for the first time - it's on youtube for free. It was like watching my own life story and falling in love with my closest friend at age 19
  5. Many people mention our educational system to explain the decreasing audience. Nobody seems to be blaming mom and dad and the fact that music is no longer viewed as a priority. When I was growing up we had a piano in our living room and I had weekly lessons. I'd say that was true for maybe 40% of my classmates. If you walk into an elementary school today and ask the students how many have a piano at home and take lessons I'd say it would be below 10%. People have changed their priorities.
  6. I assume you're speaking of the 1939 film version with Laurence Olivier, which I've seen twice and I enjoy. 1939 was a banner year in the film industry - Gone with the Wind, The Wizard of Oz, Wuthering Heights, and Bette Davis as Elizabeth I
  7. This guy is hot. Trip Richards is another ftm hottie who has videos available online though he's been off rentmen for a while
  8. Gone with the Wind is a bore. It's a sentimental soap opera. Has anyone else noticed that English actor Leslie Howard makes no attempt at a Southern accent? Vivian Leigh at least tried to do a Southern accent
  9. I didn't think there was much of a story in a film so long. Also, the poor people were all portrayed as good and the rich people were all portrayed as bad (Molly Brown being the exception). Well that isn't true. If you don't believe me walk by yourself down a deserted alley in a poor neighborhood at 2am.
  10. Rope is one of my favorites. And Hitchcock used that one-camera filming method that made history and never detracts the viewer
  11. The deal that Peter Gelb arranged with the Saudis for $200 million will not happen - Met Opera's $200 Million Saudi Arabia Deal Falls Through I can easily believe that Gelb announced this to the press before the contracts were signed just as a way to prevent the Saudis from reneging ... but it didn't pan out. To prevent the company from dying the Met needs to rent out the opera house for pop music events. In Germany smaller operas houses will have a run of "Hello Dolly" in German and then a production of "Die Meistersinger". The other option, discussed for many years, is to sell the naming rights so one day we might have "The Tampax-Metropolitan Opera House"
  12. We're all going to go to hell .... but I'm not sure about prison
  13. We all know that Derek Atlas's moral compass is set in the wrong spot - he lies about his age, sets up appointments with clients and doesn't show up, and he's gone to prison more than once. I'm now concerned about your moral compass, Mr. Purplekow. Please explain how a morally virtuous human being who is 44 can legitimately claim to be 36
  14. I suspect Jake Cruise had a lot of money to pay top-level hunks like Apollo Phoenix, Zeb Atlas, Arpad Mikos, and Brenden Cage to appear with him in videos
  15. Here's a video of Apollo Phoenix, using the name Joe Thunder, in a video with Jake Cruise - Jake Cruise and Joe Thunder Cc73 P1: Gay Blowjob Porn | xHamster If you go to mymusclevideo.com and search Joe Thunder a few more videos with him are available

Any ad that I see on rentmen that lacks a face photo is an ad that I ignore
  17. Of course the tax laws can change dramatically, but the RMDs associated with my IRA will occur at a time when I'll be earning a pension from my job plus Social Security. I've known people whose retirement income was higher than the salary during their working years. Looking at the figures, it's better for me to pay $10k in taxes now with the Roth conversion rather than $20k in taxes in 2040. Also, hoping that I make good investment decisions, the 2040 balance on my Roth IRA will be much higher than my IRA balance now, so I'm happy to see that future investment income as tax free
  18. This year I'll convert cash from my IRA to a Roth IRA. This is my first Roth conversion and I plan to do it annually for the several years. I've done my homework and I understand why the conversion has its benefits. I'll only convert from my IRA a sum that will put my taxable income at the upper limit of my tax bracket, without bumping me into a higher bracket. Have any of you done a Roth Conversion only to regret it later?
  19. An interesting article in the March 2026 issue of AAII Journal (which I received today) looked at decades of dollar-cost averaging versus lump-sum investing. Lump-sum investing outperformed. Here's an interesting quote from the article for those against going in lump-sum : 'You must think that stocks are going to go up, or you wouldn't be buying them. Why do you think stocks will go down first? if you think they're going to go down, why buy them at all?'
  20. I've been looking at his ad for a few months now since I prefer middle-aged muscle hunks. I wish I could see a face picture
  21. Caruso, Callas, Pavarotti, Fleming, etc. all had some negative critics. I've met opera fans like Mr. Pons in the past, whose attitude is "I, truly, am one of the few who know great singing. You cannot fool me. The people running the operas houses in Vienna and New York don't know, but I know". Those of us who attend the opera on a regular basis all have our own opinions.
  22. Simply put - I was so scared that I was not sexually active with other men. I rented a lot of porn videos during those years.
  23. Have any of you discovered the Vocal Reckoning channel on youtube by ex-tenor Emilio Pons? Here is his review of the Met's Tristan und Isolde and, at 12:25, he says Ryan Speedo Green was horrible -
  24. You wouldn't turn away the guy in the selfie, but would you pay the same price? I wouldn't pay the guy in the selfie the same amount as the guy in those photos that are now over 10 years old
  25. Someone once said to me "a cluttered home is a cluttered mind" and I live in a very minimalist environment. It works for me and when I have to move into an assisted living facility it won't be difficult to downsize
