EDIT:....I found the other recent thread on this topic (would've added to that one if I knew where it was) and, based on advice there, tried hideme in Chrome rather than my usual Firefox......success!......remember to use the rentmen.eu version of the reviews URL....the country doesn't seem to matter anymore....... you may have to click thru the "are you 18?" page a couple or three times.......warnings in the other thread about privacy at Chrome were ignored since I gave up on internet privacy years ago https://www.companyofmen.org/topic/165157-hide-me-vpn-doesnt-work-on-rentmen/

a few others have mentioned the recent slight change at the free hideme proxy site lately which many of us use to read the text of Rentmen reviews....there used to always be an additional box below "proxy location" with about five check-off questions (stuff like 'enable encryption?' and other slightly techie inquiries, which usually required all to be checked)....that box is now gone and I'm unable to use this VPN now to get at Rentmen text reviews.....ends up going thru an endless "are you 18?" inquiry, then closes....yes, I'm using "rentmen.eu" and setting the country to Germany...... this used to be nearly hassle-free and now it's gone......I don't want to download a "free" five-day trial......yes, I realize you get what you pay for...... anybody have a quickie alternative or a way to get hideme to work?......thanks

well said.....messaging Rentmen reviewers is always a crapshoot.....some never reply, despite seeing my message......others do only the vague "he was great" reply with no answers to my obvious questions.......perhaps one in six or eight will reply, answer my questions, and not be a weirdo......yes, I certainly understand the privacy concern when messaging with complete strangers.......and I know Rentmen is much less about friendly messaging among members than COM is..... of my many dozens of messages here on the forum to others, I remember only one COM member never replying to my innocuous message to him......and I never forget 😉

Word-of-mouth between trusted and discreet clients. Subtle networking. Certain lines of work bring providers and clients together. A fortuitous meet between willing participants. For those few providers who don't need to advertise on some pedestrian site like Rentmen (!), it's a very lucky gig.

Just finished a late lunch at Five Guys. Still very good and the slightly higher prices reflect that. For those who don't know, a small fries is huge/more than plenty. Staff seemed hard-working and happy (good manager??). Franchise and all that, but good operation. Many know of its early origins in DC. Enjoyed reading the famously prolific reviews from obscure media from 18 years ago on the walls!!

well, good ol' youtube's algorithm suggested this to me.....no idea why, but part of the title ("amazing version") pulled me in......evidently produced about 1971 by New York's PBS station, channel 13 WNET, as part of a short-lived PBS show, "The Great American Dream Machine", according to a comment.....and, as always, those comments are fantastic.......

pictures belong to a Middle Eastern (country not evident) fitness influencer (The Iron Giant) with initials IN (I don't think full names are allowed here)......an IG post of his says he doesn't live in the US and that his images have been stolen before for FB use, which he says he is not on.....IN's primary language is Arabic; I doubt Spanish is among his spoken languages..... I reported it to RM

the single "premium photo" is a mirror selfie of a shirtless, lanky, dark-haired, young-ish dude with underwear and jeans sagging just enough to show healthy pubes...... by itself, the picture is not sharp enough with which for most to make a decision......
