I'll add that a couple buddies and I went to Toucan's on the Sunday of the Palm Spgs forum weekend over two or three years (2017-2019 or so) and I had a BLAST!......I think Sundays were (are?) a very popular drag show night there and the place was packed with a very mixed crowd of very fun-loving people.....though admission is, I think, free for just standing around??, I reserved a table for the three or four of us nearly upfront and center for about $10, I think......made a big difference!........the performers were talented and the show was rapid-paced and well-organized......but that Sunday crowd made the difference!! https://toucanstikilounge.com/
