since you are so close with him, can't you just have a friendly little chat and make these suggestions to him and let him run his own ad the way he wants?......I don't think ??? those changes would cost him anything beyond his monthly RM fee he's already paying..... I've also met providers who I really like and want to see get additional business.....but I've usually held back on giving advertising advice.....these guys are big boys now and can handle themselves......favorable reviews, forum chat, etc. may be better for them......

no experience, but just a quick observation: he joined RM on July 18 and last logged in to it on July 26...... might?? be finding this isn't the gig for him??......maybe I'm wrong.....

using the app, I see the Costco on the 'bad' side of town here in Arizona is at $2.679/gal today for regular unleaded 87 octane.... other Costcos in more prosperous parts of town are at $2.799/gal for regular 87.... there's no lower octane in Arizona.....

@glennnn and I had met for lunch and/or coffee in his hometown a couple times as I was driving thru his area when he was active on the forum (about five years ago)......last time I tried to contact him while in his town, there was no reply (yes, we were on entirely good terms).......somebody here may know more, but I presume there were health problems and/or family concerns that caused him to disappear from the forum.... entirely good guy with a ton of stories.....
