First let me start by saying that using protection is important but of course not all clients want to have protected sex so what do we do as an escort, lose the money or comply? I feel that as an escort it's our job to cater as much as possible to the client needs. We need to be ready and potentially assume some risk. Each escort will make their own decisions and shouldn't be shamed for their decision. While there is PrEP and Doxy PeP neither are 100% effective I have made the decision that as an escort its a necessary tool to take these. Furthermore I don't want to turn away any clients within reason so if they want unprotected sex I want to make sure that on my end I am taking the precautions to protect myself. I was dancing at a now defunct gay strip club and got requests from customers to meet them outside of the club. I found I liked it and the extra money so I continued. Keenan

I always am open to working with younger green providers and have been contacted by some. After my own experiences I want to make sure they know how to stay safe and avoid being in harmful situations. Honestly I've found the hardest part of being a provider is family and friends that know what I am doing. Escorting in and of itself isn't traumatic. Experiences encountered while escorting are what can be traumatic. At least for me the traumatic experiences have come from overly aggressive and pushy clients typically. My most traumatic experience though was when I first started escorting. The client wanted me to bareback which I wasn't comfortable doing. We were having some drinks and I blacked out. He ended up barebacking me when I was blacked out. I learned from that experience.

On a typical week I will see 2 - 3 clients in a week. On a holiday like NYE or Christmas I might see 2 clients in a day. Keenan

Exactly. As an escort I see myself as an entertainer. It's a job. Customers will hire me to provide entertainment whether it's just talking or sexual. If we do engage in sexual contact then it's to entertain the customer, not necessarily because I am attacted the the customer that has hired me. Also keep in mind that as escorts we typically have our escort persona and our regular persona so who you are hiring might not be the same outside of when you are meeting them. Keenan

I work when customers want to see me. If a customer wants to see me on Christmas Eve/Day then I'll meet them then. Getting into this line of work I understand that it's not a 9-5 job but if I want to make money I need to be available when the customers want me. Keenan
