  1. Utopia makes it very easy to schedule a massage. Their website lists who is available at whast time, in 30 minute intervals, and you can schedule several days in advance. They will send you a confirmation, and then an email reminder 24 hours before your appointment. I had a really good massage with David, who is from Colombia, who emphasized technical aspects of the massage over erotic elements. But the massage was so good that I didn't mind an omission or two. (Yes, HE included.) Danny is Asian, twinky, and is the reverse of David in what he emphasizes in his massage.
  2. Yes, you are probably correct. A friend recommended Mercury, and I asked if his massage has erotic aspects, and he replied, "Very." I like to get more than one opinion, so I decided to ask here. Anyone else?
  3. He's located in Bushwick, and has some very good reviews on his ad. Has anyone here had any experience with Mercury Rising? https://rentmasseur.com/MercuryRising
  4. And when he DOES come, it's down a chimney!
  5. I'm SO impressed by his pointing out that clients can use his bathroom!
  6. When I see employees at Utopia, usually manning the front desk, I ask, "What's your name?" I'm sure they're masseurs, though I don't ask that. I can look them up on the website, where clients can choose their masseurs for their next appointment. I'd suggest that Relaxpro simply ask the guy who does nails his name, and perhaps ask if he's a masseur. Once you know his name, it'll be easy fo learn if he's also a masseur. Perhaps you could ask him if he'd be willing to come to your apartment and give you a massage? I've asked masseurs at Utopia, and Jerry came to apt often.
  7. I don't think it would matter if you wore a thong to your massage because you're lying face down naked when the masseur walks into the room. When I get a massage, I could be wearing a dress for all he knows. as he doesn't see what I'm wear ing, except an outer jackiet or coat in cool weather
  8. I see that rollingrock and I are both interested in Charlie. I was just about to post a 411, but rolingrock beat me to it. No one in this chat room has ever been with him, evidently. He had raised his $140 fee to $160, but has recently lowered it to $135. I guess he wasn't attracting many clients at $160. I'm still interested, but don't want to take the plunge unless I read something favorable here. But I might.
  9. First, you have to remember that the masseur usually gets 1/3 of the price we pay. $60/hour is standard for spas, so $20 for the masseur isn't much. I usually tip $60, and despite what Redwine says, I don't think I've being all that generous. If the massage was just so-so, I might give only $40. $20 would be an insult, and I've never done that. If someone told me he tipped $80 or $100, I wouldn't raise an eyebrow (I can't raise just one eyebrow, anyway). I'd just assume he had a very good massage!
  10. I tied to call him yesterday at the number listed in his Rentmasseur ad. I got a recording saying that his voie mail had not yet been set up. Very odd, but I gather that he's an odd guy. I emailed him about 24 hours ago, but no reply.
  11. You can see his ad and reviews on Rentmasseur. One review is from a friend of mine, who raved, but said that I might find him a "bit spiritual." His voice mail is not yet operating, though he lists his phone number. He has not replied to my email of yesterday. I think he's a bit flaky.
  12. I'll just add that I had an excellent massage from Andy at Utopia last week. I intend to return next week. Since there has been a lot of confusion over masseurs with the same name, Andy is in his mid-20s, Asian, About 6 feet, 180. A good massage, a nice guy who speaks fluent English, and is generous with his body.
  13. I was at Utopia several weeks ago to see Victor, who I used to see all the time there before March of last year. Still clean, professional manner at the desk, on the phone, and via email, which is how I made my appt. Unfortunately, Victor doesn't keep a regular schedule, but they will inform me whenever I ask about him. It's stil my go-to spa. Thsir other spa, Shangrila, opens today, I just read in this chat room. Good luck to Xiao! I'm sure it will be first rate!!
  14. I think that you have no good way of knowing if a masseur has been vaccinated. If you are so very concerned, you should avoid massages for the time being. We all have out comfort zones. I've decided to pass up a one-man concert by Lee Roy Reams honoring Jerry Herman in a theater next week. Ordinarily, I'd jump at this, but prudence and caution dictate otherwise. The New-York Historical Society has just announced its fall lecture series. I go ALL THE TIME, but not this year. I just don't feel comfortable in a 400-seat auditorium, even if everyone is vaccinated and masked. OTOH, I continue to get massages, both at home and in spas. It all depends how much you want to do the activity. You could say to me, "Why won't you go to a theater, but you still get massages? That makes no sense." Maybe it doesn't. It's all comfort level and assessing the risk-reward ratios. You've gotten lots of advice on transmission of the virus, some of it conflicting. You have to decide just how far you want to go. As Redwine said above, if you require so much documentation from your masseurs, will the conversation still be friendly? You're a client, not the TSA.
  15. No, Victor does not advertise. When he was a regular at Utopia, before the lockdown, I asked him repeatedly if he would come to my apt, and that I'd pay him more than he could make from a massage at Utopia. He was never interested.
  16. He's there only one day a week, and not every day, and perhaps not even the same day every week. I saw him this morning -- GREAT massage, as usual!! He said he's working for his brother's construction company, so I guess he does massages at Utopia when he can, or when he wants to. Utopia is evidently not a priority for him now. I had asked Utopia last week to let me know when Victor is available, and they emailed me Sunday night to ask if I wanted to see him at 10:30 today. I assume they'll let me know the next time he's available.
  17. I read in The Spa that Victor may be back, and was just told by Xiao that he now works part time, and that I should book thru Utopia. Victor was my favorite masseur at Utopia before the lockdown last year, and I can't wait to see him again!!
  18. I was surprised to see Ryan discussed again in The Spa. I have continued to see him (I still don't know what 'in the donkey' means), and I assure you, the experience is much, much more than therapeutic! We hit it off, but I can easily see, as I said before, YMMV. I have a friend (who posts here occasionally) who has recommended some real duds to me, some so-so masseurs, and some really good masseurs who I continue to see. Ryan ;lives in The Bronx, and travels often to Atlantic City, where he coaches a wrestling team. He's usually available when I email him, and usually replies promptly.
  19. Here's his latest ad: https://rentmasseur.com/CharlieSzary A sarcastic sweetie pie? Hmmm..... "Let's get to the sublime together." Sounds good to me!
  20. He has an updated at on Rentmasseur. Nothing about college, and doesn't charge escort prices. $140 incall or outcall. I asked 411 the other day, but no replies, other than posters also seeking information. The text of his ad intrigues me, though!
  21. https://rentmasseur.com/CharlieSzary I had asked about him a few months ago, when clients were not yet hiring, and no one had been with him. Anyone had any experience with Charlie?
  22. Yeah, he looks like the redheaded masseur that le whore is talking about. I think his name is Michael. Nice guy, good massage. Haven't seen his ad in several years.
  23. Glutes is a connisseur. I always believe him. too bad, though, 'cause if the pix are accurate, he's a honey!
  24. I don't like to see 'ask' either, but I think those masseurs provide escort services, but can't say that in their ad. I've never contacted an 'ask' masseur, but I'm told that's why they say that.
  25. There was a recent thread about him. One claim was that his photo is retouched, especially a round the mouth. I don't think there have been any reports from anyone who has hired him. Nice looking kid! (What's a twunk? A twink who is no longer young?)
