I agree providers have every right to refuse service to anyone. The most successful ones, however, tend to be direct about the clients they prefer. What irks me is the lack of transparency here: an age requirement that appears and disappears, aesthetic preferences delivered with a wink. We can all get rejected on Grindr or Scruff for free. But when a potential client follows every step, including submitting a photo and is willing to pay the requested fee, presumably stays respectful and direct, and still gets turned away for no clear reason, it doesn't just reek of hookup culture… it's simply bad business. This is a business no?

I’ll be in Vegas for a work event and saw that Niccky is now there. Was pleased to see that, as I’d seen his and Middle Beastern profiles before but timing never worked.
He wanted pics of me (or at least stats) before he would commit. I declined, saying I’ll only share a pic once a date is made. He insisted so I said never mind. Im not into proving I’m hot enough for someone to take my money.
He replied “I’ll bet you’re in your 50s” and blocked me.

When providers talk about VIP, luxury, high class, etc. experiences, it’s always a turnoff. They’re probably trying to justify high cost and/or arbitrary expectations without really saying what services they perform.
