Stood up.and ripped off... He seemed to be a cool stand up guy, there was prompt positive communication, i booked two hours, he sounded really positive about it , He didn't ask for money up front , so i offered to make a deposit, he actred really touched and said he was glad to know there were "good people out there " The next day he asked if I could possibly help him out and pay the balance now because his car got towed . (Should have been the red flag ) but all his recent reviews were great so I said sure . He never showed , no communication, no reponse , just took the money and ...silence. After an hour got a text with a story about leaving his phone in an uber and could I help him ( again) with $30 ,to get his car out of a parking garage. But then he would be on his way soon .and over an hour later no word. I finally gave up, texted him and said let's call it a night and he could keep the deposit for his time, but please refund the rest. Then he immediately texted acting very confused as to why I was asking that, I explained that this had all just gotten way too weird with too many things "popping up" to delay him or prevent him from meeting that I just didn't feel comfortable and could he please refund my donation and we would go our separate ways. i never heard back... the guy is either a scammer or is so scatterbraIned that anything other than you just going to him and he has do do nothing but sit still in one spot and wait, is too much for him to handle . I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt but in (very expensive) hindsight all i can say is. DO NOT, I REPEAT - DO NOT TRUST THIS GUY!!! He will pocket your $$ and ghost you.
