I like what i am seeing and reading-- he quotes rate of 300/hr. --high end for my area, And he a little tentative on whether he can make the trip to a new town worth it for him, which i completely understand. Again, pics look good, exchange is not flaky. There's no info on him here ( i searched). So i say okay, and we agree on Fri (tonight, as i write this), just for an hour, and I say 8 or 9 ish, i'm flexible. Mid-afternoon -- I text to confirm; we exchange texts. He confirms that, yes he is coming to town, on his way as we are texting, we agree on 9. 7ish ---i get a text.... Him--i made a mistake, misquoted you my rate. i usually charge 400/hr and the voice text to you came out 3. just realized it. Me--we that's over my budget, thanks anyway. Him -- well, i made the mistake, i will man up and go ahead with 3. In meantime, i look on Rentmen, and now there are a couple of reviews, but last one 10/3 says reviewer had a good time but pics were "a little outdated." Given the last min upcharge request and this comment, i say thanks but no thanks, even after he's said, "you seem cool as hell, and it was my mistake....." As i sit here, a little horned, i wonder... what would you have done??

yeah? i sent him a couple text messages and it was like pulling teeth to get responses. me: saw you on RM, can i ask about particulars and availability? i am [my username as client] on RM him: what would u like to know? me: are you here in [my town] [they are often not, actually in SF]? Rates? Availability for tomorrow? him: I am but leaving late tonight. so perhaps tonight would have been a possibility if i texted back, but still had no info on rates. perhaps he's not feeling like working tonight. mind you i first texted him at 4:20 today, so it wasn't like i was looking for something go come together in an hour, which i can understand an escort may not appreciate.

check out a used Mazda 3 sedan or hatchback. They have some sportiness. I personally like hatches because there is more ability to get stuff in the back. trunks on some swoopy 4 door coupe types result in a tiny opening. i've had rental cars where the trunk was big but it was a challenge to squeeze the suitcase through the small opening (small because the decklid is so small)

As someone who was a young adult living near the Bay Area when the Jonestown tragedy unfolded, i still cringe every time i hear the phrase "drink the Kool-aide" and marvel how people using the phrase don't realize that the phrase causes some of us to re-visit in our minds graphic news pictures showing groups of dead families slumped across picnic tables, littered with plastic cups, some also covered in blood because they were shot for refusing to drink.
