I beg to differ. I live in New Jersey and am a frequent Vegas visitor. The humidity makes a huge difference 90 in Vegas is no problem. 90 in Jersey is like 105+ in Vegas. When it's humid your sweat doesn't evaporate so it doesn't cool you.

I don't see the building owner as more negligent. The tenant was subletting illegally and involved in throwing these parties, and was the one who blocked exits. The owner is more passively negligent. If someone drives drunk in a rental car you don't sue the rental car company.

And stating racial preferences - i.e. implicitly disparaging others based on their race for your personal convenience - seems less like trying to rise above it than wearing it as a badge of honor. I am in general attracted most to people of some races, and there are some ethnicities where it is far less likely that I will be sexually attracted to a member(though not impossible), but I wouldn't dream of putting "don't bother if you are X" or "ONLY Y!" in my profile like a lot of assholes feel free to do.
