  1. Yes! I wondered how much $$ they forked out!! For that cameo and that song. Brilliant.
  2. One friend describes PS as "hell" in summertime, that the heat is constant, even in the middle of the night, still hot. Another friend moved away from PS. Same reason. I love visiting PS. Beautiful. Peaceful resorts . A convenient drive for me. But I gave up on buying a place over there. The heat continues trending hotter. I lived in Vegas years ago for work. It's changed a lot. Not sure if I would have the patience for living there now, a million people living in the middle of the desert.
  3. One factor might be how members promote snarky banter by responding to it. If I don't care for their demeanor I may not engage. But "you do you" is OK by me. Knock yourself out you snarky ones.
  4. S1 of The Bear was so good I wondered if S2 could live up to the hype. I binge watched S2, spoiler free. So good! I watched a scene in epi-7 3 times. S3 is nearly here.
  5. There is Shakey's pizza in Palm Springs I enjoy. I admit it's the nostalgia that draws me back and it's located near where I stay.
  6. Would love to see this! Love the album, Illinoise. I got to see Sufjan Stevens at Hollywood Forever Cemetery a few years ago before the pandemic. He is so talented. This is my favorite song from illinoise live on ACL.
  7. Just watched, on Starz. It's worth a watch. Billy Eichner could have toned down his mouth now and then. We get it, you know? Calm down. But yeah there is a lot of funny stuff. I love Bowen Yang. Needed more of him. Luke McFarlane was yummy and also a great actor. Love to see more of him.
  8. I hope A H. turns the page and finds peace. I question how the entertainment media seemed to turn on him so quickly. No crimes were uncovered. These woman knew he was married with children. What did they want? If he was so miserable to them why did they stay? Seems nutz.
  9. My financial planner reminded me that marriage would help avoid inheritance taxes when I pass. I have no children so I intend to leave my assets to my partner. My strategy is leaving equity to my partner, if we divorce, while avoiding his claiming an undo portion. Of course he is uncomfortable discussing it but I know better. At least I assume so.
  10. One effect might be businesses in NY tightening their record keeping to avoid running afoul of the law. Some claim they will boycott NY. That sounds like a hollow threat. Really, who cares? NY will carry on.
  11. Art did a lot of manipulating in the film. All 3 characters were complex. I found this article about M.F. A good read. He talks about filming Challengers, and much more. Mike Faist Pulls Back the Curtain | AnOther WWW.ANOTHERMAG.COM A decade on Broadway, a critically acclaimed turn in Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story, a role in Challengers alongside Zendaya – but...
  12. He is a favorite. I have repeated and will again.
  13. yes, same. Good guy.
  14. I especially love the line where Art professes his love, and how Mike Faist looks in that scene. All 3 leads had great chemistry, but Faist made me want to watch scenes again. I can only imagine if I'd seen him in Brokeback Mountain I would have melted.
  15. May I ask for input on executing a prenuptial agreement prior to marriage? Specifically does anyone have direct experience with this subject matter? I've already done internet searches and found lots of information. So I'm not asking for anyone to do internet searches and report back. But if you have gone through the process and learned useful lessons, I would appreciate anything you might be willing to share. My goal is to be aware of risks and challenges and to have all my ducks in a row before contacting a lawyer.
  16. Finally saw Past Lives. Well done! A very specific topic that a lot of us probably ponder or daydream about, from a Korean Buddhism philosophical kind of insight. A quiet, poignant and moving film.
  17. The conversation about his social life.
  18. From the times I booked him, not straight. Nice enough but stopped seeing him. The last session was off.
  19. Sounds like a script for a comedy at the Geffen. The wheelchair character, the hot butler and so on. Reminds me why I stay in Cali during the holidays instead of flying 1000 miles to be with family.
  20. Daniel looks sweet.
  21. There is already gay porn that appeals to chubby chasers. Sorry in advance if the term offends some of you. Bears? But the OP focus is on gay porn that the majority already watch. Should gay porn incorporate large and generally out of shape guys? A new kind of hybrid gay porn? Some might say "woke" porn. Perhaps it would sell. Perhaps not. Producers need to make a profit. If something will sell, go for it. If not, then why create content just because they "should". Because it's the right thing to do? Because it's good for society? 🥳💯 The porn company might need nonprofit status. Who's in?
  22. Anyone watch Seinfeld re-runs, the soup guy that bans customers for saying the wrong thing? "No soup for you, 1 year! ". 😄 I was surprised at the post recommending to avoid starting with "Hi" or "Hey". I suppose that could be grounds for being ghosted by some. However, I do tend to begin with "Good morning" or "Hello", just to be polite and also to be clear this is a new conversation. IMO the best way to start is something brief. "Good morning, are you booking incall appointments this weekend?" If the P is a repeat, that should be adequate. After getting a response, I work on the details but keep the messages clear and economical. Make it easy. If P responds "When?" I usually suggest a window of time and ask "What works for you?" Some providers offer a template response with possible rates, duration, and other details. To me that's a good sign they are serious about keeping the communication brief and getting something booked. But yeah there have been times when I get nothing. It may not help spending too much time wondering why. I just move on, at least for awhile.
  23. I have so many cool forever stamps. Hate to use them. Maybe time to buy more. 😃
  24. I was accepted at a very competitive state school where the curriculum was difficult no matter which course. I received good grades, and got a BS in engineering that opened doors for me. My college education is directly applicable to my work I was able to pay off my loans relatively soon. So yeah, it was worth it. Knowing how tuition has gone up definitely changes the conversation. No argument there.
  25. I used to sit on the couch with Dad and watch Louis Rukeyser on Friday night. Rukeyser would tease about the Gold Bugs, investors that never let go of their recommendation to buy gold. He teased about a lot of things. A clever fellow. Young folk are interested in crypto more than gold. I wonder what Rukeyser would think about our modern investing landscape.
