1. Once was enough for me.
2. In the late 80s I used to rent a room at the downtown San Diego Y on the occassional weekend. This was back before the city redeveloped the area into what it is today. Back then it was still pretty run down. However the communal showers on the upper floors of the Y were always full of military guys wanting to get off base for the weekend and "get off".
3. I live in California and have owned a tux for 20 years. One you wear it three or four times it pays for itself. And as others have said, if you own it you can tailor it to actually fit. Rentals never worked for me. I have relatively broad shoulders in relation to my narrow hips.
4. Martha Plimpton playing Tina in the John Waters movie Pecker: "Trade is my life!"
5. There’s a lot of subtle racism in the US of which most white guys are probably not aware. My husband is a Mexican-born US citizen. He is proud of his heritage and wears a big ‘stache. He also has an advanced degree, owns his own business with 6 employees, and has an income over twice mine. However, invariably, whenever we’re checking into a hotel or a restaurant, or other professional establishment expecting service, I’m the one that is addressed first and all subsequent responses are directed towards me and only me. When we travel, he’s the one that gets “randomly” selected for extra screening at security or immigration. Being his partner for over 20 years has made me much less inclined to express doubt when non-whites feel they have been slighted because of their race.
6. I'm with Nick on this one. He's not being too picky.
7. "disappointing experience with him" "nothing exciting at all" "okay massage" "wouldn't repeat" "very arrogant" All in the last 18 months. What more do you need to know?
8. Ridiculous headline. Congratulation to them but they are most definitely not "having a baby".
9. Why bother? Did you not read all the negative reviews here?
10. I saw Taka about 4 years ago. Look for "Asianmassage" on rentmasseur. Nice guy, customer-focused massage, looks like his pics, extras were not memorable. I think the massage was on a futon on the floor. He's using the same pics now as then so I can't confirm what he looks like now. His studio apartment was clean but a bit run down. You might ask for an out call
11. I'm not sure you could get anyone to meet you out at the airport.
12. I know, YMMV, but I found Borek not worth the drive. There was no connection between us, all the interactions were very mechanical, and he was more concerned with getting his laundry done than performing the massage. I can't remember if it was on a bed or a table, but he actually left the room twice to tend to his wash when the washer/dryer buzzers went off.
13. Confirmed! I saw him when he lived in NYC.
14. I use a combination of frozen crisco and butter in my pie crusts. I now have a new visual to occupy my mind while I'm bent over the table rolling out the dough.
15. I've been to the Railway Museum in Saitama north of Tokyo and the Kyoto Railway Museum but never the one in Yokohama. Thanks for the tip!
16. Yeah, he's cranky alright! I guess I looked at his private gallery too many times. He blocked me from seeing his ad. If I log out of the site I can view it (minus the private gallery) but if I log back in, the link to his ad goes right to the rentmasseur home page. I guess I'll pass. Sorry.
17. I just replied to a post in the spa. We all seem to agree he needs to change his ads. Thanks for the feedback.
18. I agree with you reguarding his tone. It could just be bad copy but I too am hesitant. If I do hire him I'll let you know how it turned out.
19. I also posted this in the spa since he has an ad on rentmasseur. Any experiences to share? Thanks in advance. https://rent.men/SirSF
