my massage therapist doesn't work for a spa. but he his in his 60s. and have had two guys in the past 10 years at spas. not in the U.S. also in their 60s. last time was a duo in Italy. all great massage therapists. great mature guys. and always more than a tug for an end to the massage. not sure why there apparently aren't more older men at spas in nyc. its a shame. and a shame the above discussion above isn't about how to remedy the situation. why not ask the spas?

I suppose you can call it "just paying attention".  But when you refer to a group of people as "old food" or are repulsed by "old men touching you" you just reveal a vapid mind.  You're free to disrespect all the groups that you want. If that's what makes you feel valid in life, judge on, man.   

I love these kind of places. So few exist. I’ve not been to it but I have been to similar venues. The attraction seems to me to be a mix of the opportunity for exhibitionism: to do outrageous acts in public that wouldn’t be possible in polite society, the sheer randomness of encounters that @Coolwave35so evocatively describes and the democratisation that a dark room provides where what you look like isn’t such an issue. For me the greater variety of people there the better; straight, gay, old, young, male, female and everything in between. It’s society but with the rules changed, where it seems that almost endless possibilities exist. 
 

 

I have soooooo many fond memories of this place. It was a Sunday night staple for me for three + years. I dropped over $100k in that time meeting all sorts of hotties. 
 
It lost its appeal when the guys started dying and the curtain got pulled back. 

The "gay" scene in Long Island is minimal compared to the bisexual community. There has always been a tremendous amount of married men who don't identify as gay but who DO like to get-off with guys. Therefore there always has to be a component of strong hetero-normative sexual visuals added for their degree of deniability about the possibility they might be gay. Book stores / video shops etc will be surrounded with straight porn while they suck dick. This is why many of these kinds of places are busier during the day. Most of these men need to get home to their wife and kids at night.

There are definitely areas where you can see people and interact.   Some guys have put on a show watch.  I personally like the dark room.
 
As for a clothing check, I have seen people, naked, and felt them naked in the dark room, but I think they’re close or strewn on the sticky couch or floor. People are definitely not marching in there naked. 
 
I’ve gone and just sat on a couch in the big lit room, pulled out my dick and inspired quite a few circle jerks and bukkake scenes. I try to make dreams come true.
