I just won't hire anyone for massage that is charging $200 or more.  It's just a tell that they really don't know the massage market or they are using massage as a cover for escorting.  If I want an escort, I'll be specific about what I want with an escort.  But even then I have an "I'm Out" rate.  My experience has always been that the higher the fee is for massage or scorts, the more disappointing the experience is.  And hopefully, others looking to hire catch on and those providers go out of business.

Asking for payment up front means expect junk food and a quickie.

I have two regular traveling therapists that I dearly love and trust and asked them what the blocking thing is all about.  They both told me that they do not block people.  But on RentMassuer when a potential client just even looks at a profile, it shows up as an email. So they have to scroll thru the "lookyloos" to answer people that have actual questions.  But both of these guys have been pros for so long, they just swat it away and don't pay much attention to it.  
On the flip side, I will look at profiles of guys I might be interested in and get an auto response.  Often I cannot tell if it's a legit "hello" or if it's a "here's my auto response, contact me by text if you want to know more" It's awkward, so I just don't respond. In the age of AI, I want a connection that I know is real. 
From what my regular massage guys say,  they don't reach out to clients that look at their profiles.  If someone contacts them with a specific question, they will respond and often are booked in a more organic manner.  
When AI Robots start massaging us, I will have to tap out.  I turned 70 in July.  Hopefully, I'll have "gone on to glory" if this is where the world is at.  I pray we are decades away from erotic robots doing massage.  One malfunction and your johnson could become a mangled cheeto.  Yikes!

I hired HBI earlier this year.  He came to my hotel and provided everything we agreed to and I paid him.  The only issue I had was that he was very slow to leave and I had a commitment that I had to get to.  He was taking forever to get dressed and kept looking at his phone. I literally told him, "dude we gotta go NOW".  I might hire him again to see how it would be for a second time.

If you ever met me you'd see that I am definitely not hairy.  Hud and I have chatted and definitely have a mutual bond about being uncut and what that means.   You can accuse me of whatever you want. I don't know you, it doesn't bother me.   But you never answered the question.  
1.) Did you meet Hud and get a massage from him?

You stated on this site (Company of Men) that the initial response to you from Hud was arrogant because he texted back to you a one word answer of "possibly".  The truthful text that I have from his phone was him texting "Hello. Possibly. What time would you want?"  I possess a photo of this from his phone. 
2.) You texted "would 7pm work for you?"  He texted "yes" and then you asked for his address and he replied "please reconfirm at 6pm and I'll get you the address" and you replied "ok".   This was at a little after 2pm.  And that was the last the text between you two.  You did not reconfirm. You ghosted him and you left a totally fake and viscous review on RentMasseur for an appt. you never showed up for.
So tell COM readers which story is it Superben. You actually saw Hud, (as you posted in your nasty review on RentMassuer), or you immediately blocked him because you were "fuming"??   One of these things is not like the other.  No need to answer me though,  I have a copy of the receipts.
The thing you don't realize is that I rely on the excellent massage that both Hud and RobCMT provide when I get to be on their table.  I'm not looking for the rub and tug you wanted. That's easy to find. Superior body work is not easy to find.  And guys like you "F" it up for me and others when you lie and mistreat legit massage therapists, because it makes them want to leave the profession.

Hud is in my hometown this week and I tried to book an appointment, but he was very rude in his text messages. Yesterday at around 4:00 pm, I messaged him saying that I found his ad on rentmasseur, was interested in booking a massage session with him and asked if he was available in the evening. His reply was literally: "Possibly." So I said that I was free any time after 7:00 pm and asked what time would be good for him. His reply was even more arrogant than the previous one, he replied with: "Reach out when you figure out what works for you." So I asked if 7:30 was ok for him. And he said: "Reach out to reconfirm at 6 pm." At that point, I was literally fuming and blocked him. 
He might be a great masseur, but he comes across as extremely arrogant in his communications, which is very unusual for a 60-year-old provider. You'd think that someone of that age would know better.

I don't see much representation on here for older guys so i thought I'd toss Hud into the mix.  Easy to book and just an excellent massage therapist.  He only travels to other cities for his massage work, but when he's done with you, you definitely know you've had a massage from a true master.  He's relieved so many body issues I've had that other massage therapists in my city just cannot figure out.  I've literally hired him twice in a 3 day period when he visits.
