When I lived in Hawaii the age of consent was fourteen. I didn't believe it so I called the Police Department and asked about it. The desk sergeant said: "Hold on a moment, I'll ask about it." he came back in a few minutes and said: "The age of consent is fourteen. However I want to remind you that those children have parents that'll be willing to beat the shit out of you."
They have since raised the the age of consent to sixteen with a Romeo and Juliet clause of five years. The point is that the "Age of Consent" is not universal and does change over time.
My feeling is that we should wait until at least they're out of high school and go with eighteen being the boundary. This feeling tends to be shared by the moderators and the administrators. The current rules are in the process of being adjusted. So let me reiterate:
If you discuss or post pictures of children, you will be warned.
