Pride Holding's letter to Staff dated May 18 did not age well, trying to explain everything was a rumor, bills were paid, no eviction notices, and no site closures. Also interesting they are blaming "bank fraud" as the reason for the missed payments. Another article I saw mentions Barrett purchased a 3.5 million house in Boca in March, then put it in a new LLC. "there is no evidence of wrong doing" the article states. From their latest quarterly report: " The Company has not generated revenue and profits since inception, sustained a net loss of $2,702,624 and $224,237 from continuing operations for the three months ended March 31, 2026 and 2025, respectively, and incurred negative cash flows from operations of $574,027 for the three months ended March 31, 2026. These factors among others raise substantial doubt about the Company’s ability to continue as a going concern for a period of 12 months from the issuance date of this report "

With expectations set low, I travelled to Prague for 5 nights, July 15 - 19. It is a very nice city and during the day, I was able to explore some of the more popular attractions such as the Prague Castle area, Lessor Town, Charles Bridge, Old Town, a River boat tour, and some museums. I stayed at the Hilton in Old Town, which was very nice. I did not have much luck with hunqz since I was looking for Twinks. They either did not log in while I was there, read but did not respond to my message, or did not follow through with agreed meetings. I usually try to make same day appointments, but this time I tried contacting guys several days in advance. I think I will go back to the same day approach. I missed out on a few that showed available, because I was waiting on replies from others. Wednesday (day of arrival) - I decided to start at Xbar around 10pm. Took the tram and walked a few blocks. The new location, honestly, sucks. It is away from everything, and you would miss it if there wasn't a giant Blue X in the window. Apparently, they were renovating the basement, so it was only the main floor and a small second floor balcony. The club is tiny - 2 tables, 2 couches, and a stripper pole/platform that takes up 50% of the main room. When I entered, Merow was bartending (you can see him on their Instagram). I was quickly greeted by Darryl Ryder, the porn star from London/Scotland who was working there for a short period(you can also see him on their Instagram). Darryl is very sexy and a very nice guy to talk with. There were 2 customers sitting at the larger table with the owner and Darryl. Eventually, the "crowd" increased to 5 plus me. Occasionally, Darryl would get on the pole, dancing in shorts or underwear. Merow also dances on the pole. Merow said there was another twink dancer, but I did not see him any of the nights I was there. I bought Darryl and Merow some drinks and some shots. The same shot for me cost 110czk, but cost 200czk for the dancers. It says right on the receipt "shot for boy". My beer cost 135czk, but a drink for Darryl cost 400czk. If Darryl had not been there (and he does leave Prague soon); I would not have gone back. Thursday - I went to Up around 8:45pm. Simora was bartending - she was neither rude or welcoming, basically just served me a drink and spent most of the time outside smoking with the 4 customers. The bar inside was very warm. At 9:30 when Down opened, I went there. I stayed for a while to see if anyone interesting would come in and/or work. The beer was only 45czk. There was around 8 customers when I left. I went to Xbar, arriving around 12:45. Darryl said I was the first customer of the night, and they were getting ready to close, but would now stay open. He was pretty drunk and decided to leave 45 minutes after I arrived. Friday - I went to Up around 8:30pm. Simora was bartending again, maybe 5 customers. I watched some of the world cup, before going to Down. Again, maybe 7-8 customers; 2 guys who looked like they worked there came in, sat down for a few, and then left. Friends was advertising a strip show at Midnight, so I left Down around 11pm to check out Friends. I was pleasantly surprised to see 5 cute Twink bartenders. By midnight, the club was packed. The strip show consisted of one muscular dancer doing a lap dance for a girl in a chair on stage. I stayed until 4am, primarily talking to one of the cute bartenders. Saturday - I started at Friends at 9:30 for drinks and conversation with the bartender from Friday. There were maybe 6 customers, majority lesbians, but by 11pm; it started to fill up. I headed over to Xbar at midnight to see Darryl. The owner, 4 customers, and Darryl were at the large table. A few more customers came in; Darryl and Merow both got on the pole a few times. Both eventually showed their ass, but no frontal view. 1 customer was getting private dances, which they do downstairs; so not too much pole action. I only stayed as late as I did because 5 Americans came in after 1am; and I sat and talked with them. I returned to Friends at 2:30 where I ended the night at 5am. Sunday - It is Darryl's night off, so no reason to go to Xbar. I also decided to skip Up & Down, since I had a 6:30am train to catch on Monday. I went to Amerika 32,a bar where my favorite bartender from Friends also works. Had a nice time talking with him, and another Friends bartender who joined us. Overall, it was nice to "Czech" Prague off my Bucket List. I enjoyed meeting Darryl and had a very nice time talking with the Friends bartender. However, unless I see major dancer changes on Xbar's Instagram, or good reports from here; I don't see a reason to return to Prague anytime soon.

Unfortunately, the "erosion" of male strip clubs continues in Montreal. Red Diamond has just added a 2nd night (Sunday) for Trans dancers. That means on Sunday, you have a choice of Male dancers at Campus, Trans dancers at Taboo and Red Diamond, and trans/female/bi/male/anything goes dancers at Stock. In addition to its regular 2x per week Trans nights (Sun/Tue) , Taboo had a Trans night Saturday 7/4. I understand why, it was the biggest "crowd" I have seen there in a long time. You know things are bad, when longtime weekend bartender Diego is thinking about leaving towards the end of the year. For a US holiday, I did not see any real increase in American visitors. Taboo had only a handful of male dancers during the July 4th weekend. Red Diamond has not made any progress getting better since re-opening last year; they have maybe 4 dancers and 1 bear (cub?) dancer. Stock and Campus are still busy, unfortunately, 90%+ of the dancers are not my type. I do enjoy the Unity crowd that comes down for a drink or two at Stock Fri & Sat.. Sunday at Stock & Soda was nice with bartender Tommy and some friends. I still like the village and will return again in August. But it has changed from "cant wait to see the hot dancers and have some lap dances" to "cant wait to see all of the friends I have made over the last 20 years, have some drinks, gamble, and look at the eye candy from Unity".

@brettnyc Agreed, but I wish they would keep it updated. Many of the dancers, especially near the bottom have not worked there in years. For instance, Zane, Calvin, Eros, Dallas, Kyle, Ryan, Liam and many more have not worked there for several years.

Thank you @HungDaddyinPrague and @tassojunior for the replies. Sounds like "Down" is not worth exploring for some local rentboys. From iIstagram, XBar seems to have about 3 or so boys working and if it is away from the rest of the action, I assume it is not very busy or worth a visit.

I am looking to schedule a trip to Prague in late June/July. I was wondering if anyone had any updates on XBar, Up and Down, or any other bars/clubs with Twinks/"Boy next door" type guys. Thanks

To clarify, the building is for sale, the 2 businesses (Stock and Unity); are not for sale. iconic building in downtown Montreal. Housing two Village institutions, in operation for over 25 years. Le Stock Bar, 6,800 sq ft on the ground floor, plus a full‑size basement. Club Unity on the second and third floors, plus a huge rooftop terrace. The building also has a very large parking lot of 3,268 sq ft. Building in very good condition having undergone major renovations. Exceptional income of $350,000 per year. And the tenants pay all business taxes, in the amount of $90,265 for the year 2025. The building has two addresses, 1171 Ste-Catherine East and 1400 Montcalm. GST/QST must be added to the asking price

There are a few in their late 20s, but the majority are 30s/40s. I do not know if they also dance at Johnsons

I went to Boardwalk last night (Saturday) at 1:30am. There were 3 employees outside (in black suits); they pat you down before you enter. Cover was $15. There were 30+ customers and probably 20+ dancers. The dancers are not my type, they are older, muscle guys; but I thought I would stop by anyway. There was 1 twunk type. They are very forward, asking immediately if you want a private dance, instead of "hi , my name is .... , what is your name, etc." . Another 3 or so employees in black suits standing at various doors or entrances inside the bar. 2 bartenders at the main bar, no bartender at the back bar. I saw a few dancers get on stage, there is no Nudity. One danced in his jeans. At one point, there were 2 dancers in their underwear on the bar dancing. The vibe to me did not seem as friendly as other bars I have been to, but maybe that is just me. There was a customer sitting at the bar smoking cigarettes, and there were several ashtrays on the bar. I am used to the other bars that only allow smoking outside. Wouldn't go again (as expected) since my primary place when visiting is LeBoy. LeBoy was 95% latin dancers (which is normal) and 90% twink.

I was there this weekend. No one mentioned that news at all. The owner of LeBoy also owns Lit, and I know in the summer they sometimes have a free shuttle between the bars. Perhaps the rumour was about a promotion between the bars ? Typically, cities do not allow moving a cabaret license from one site to another. However, if true, it would be interesting to see how the 2 different bars work together in 1 building.

The other forum mentions that the owner died, so I do not think it is a question of money. Perhaps a new owner could take over ? Hopefully the landlord still wants the building to be a bar. Fingers crossed, would like to take a trip back to Berlin this year.

Just read on the other forum and confirmed on their website , the bar is now permanently closed. On their site " An era comes to an end. After nearly 70 years, it is finally over in the neighborhood on April 15, 2026. We thank you all for a magnificent—and wild—time.

Stock has now joined Taboo and Red Diamond with a weekly (Sunday night) non-male dancer night. Not sure if it is just for the quiet winter months or permanent. The major difference is Taboo/Red Diamond are trans nights, Stock is "all inclusive" night including women dancers. This leaves Campus as the only "all male" strip club in Montreal.

There is also a profile on jock2go.eu with the same pictures. It is listed in Hartford, CT. and has a (601) Mississippi number. It even has what appears to be a fake review. He also recently had a profile BillyNoir in Albany, NY and another (forgot the name) in another city in Ohio over the summer.

I was in Montreal at the start of pride July 31 - Aug 3. I usually go to Campus in the late afternoons to gamble and to see if any twink/boy next door boys are working. This trip, I did not go since my favorite dancer left Campus. This is the first time in many months I went to Taboo. It was much better than I had expected. Thur, Fri, and Sat had bigger crowds (not packed) than my previous visit. Each night there were around 6 dancers. Most, not all, got naked on their second songs, a few at full attention I arrived around 9-9:30 each night, left before midnight. Sunday is trans night, so I did not go. If you look at Their Instagram (jerry.taboo , not the older ones that are outdated), you can get a good idea of current dancers. My favorite is Michaelo (he is also listed on stock site, but has not worked there in a long time). It was either Fri or Sat, I walked in at 9:30 and there was a Bachelorette event in progress, which ended at 10pm. Red Diamond has finished their re-model and opened up without their liquor license to try to get some business during pride. They were doing auditions/interviews for staff/dancers. The new remodel looks nice, but their success will depend on getting a good group of reliable dancers. I only stopped in to see the remodel, since I was invited to do so. They expect to have their license in a few weeks. I spent the majority of my time at Stock. As a mentioned in previous threads, it is more for the customers/bar tender, then the dancers. The "dancer" link on their website is not accurate. A better way to tell who still dances there is to look at the videos->live shows preview link and look at the dates. I can confirm Mike, Nick, Romeo, Sam, Marco, and Levy were working (Mostly twink or twinkish). The website shows Angel, Greg, Chad, Erick, Gab, Hugo, Dante, Jayjay, Augusto, Kyle, Santiago, and Alexander all doing shows within the last month. Many look familiar. I also know there are several others who are not on the site, but do not know their names. Friday and Saturday I spent the night at the upper bar with bartender Dimitri, and the Unity crowd that comes in periodically for a drink or two. Sunday, I went to Stock around 8 and stayed at the front bar since Dimitri was bartending. @Colton Matt Ryan owns the portable pole you saw outside stock. He has been doing outside shows for years, and his location varies. Currently, Mike and Romeo also perform with him. All 3 also dance at Stock. Matt will let anyone who wants to learn the pole get up there and try (He teaches pole dancing). I do not believe the other performer you saw works at Stock. St Catherine street during the day was filled with Vendors for Pride; and a pretty good walking crowd. The usual homeless/crack heads were present, but they are harmless. I always feels safe walking St. Catherine. Thursday night was the last fireworks night, so clubs were slow until the show finished. Back again mid September

According to Instagram, it appears that Taboo has now added Sunday as a trans night. At this point, I don't see a reason to visit Taboo. Hopefully, if there are any good looking dancers left, they move to Campus or Stock.

Campus is still dead during the day. There are 1-3 dancers, on average. I always would start at Campus more to gamble since it was open. 2 of the Red Diamond dancers are there during the late afternoon. 1 is my favorite so I go to see him. 2 other Red Diamon dancers work at Stock . I will be back in July to enjoy the nice weather.

Taboo has been hosting Bachelorette events for over 6 months. You never know when they are happening. I have walked in the bar several times during these events, and I usually leave or play the poker machine. On Instagram, Taboo is advertising "Trans Tuesday". I have also seen advertisements for other events such as the Jun 1 " Alexis Mygler' (no idea who that is) show for $35 cover and the July 3 "Cattriona" (no idea) show also for $35 cover. The regular crowd has been pretty slow since Covid, so the owner has to find alternate events to stay in business. I lean towards Twinks, and I have skipped Taboo my last 3 trips this year. With Red Diamond currently closed waiting for their license, I spend afternoons at Campus and nights at Stock (which has a big Twink crowd on the weekends) and a few twink dancers now.

The Phoenix is still open. However, the "action" has been moved from the second floor to the back patio due to an older customer falling down the stairs and suing the bar. Rawhide has also recently reopened, but I am not sure what the rules are or what happens there.

I got a response back from one of the BJ Rooster's dancers. The curtains were removed for 3 weeks, but are now back up. The dancers are no longer allowed to show their butts, so they have to wear shorts or boxers while dancing on the bar and walking around. Not sure what caused this change. Might check it out sometime in October.

Any updates on BJ Roosters ? I have googled and searched twitter, but have not found anything.

I have been to Montreal 7 times this year. I always arrive at YUL between 1:00pm and 3:30pm. I use ArriveCan and the "Express" lane, and it has never been more than 5 minutes to get through. I usually arrive on a Thursday. When leaving, I Have global entry, and have never waited more than a few minutes. Although, the last 2 times, it took almost 10 minutes to get through security (carry on scanning) .
