  1. Good to know. As I mentioned above, I have found it to be a challenge for many of my experiences in the past couple of years. I guess I should also point out it's mostly new providers, on the younger side (under 30). They are the ones who don't honor their advertised offer. The older, more experienced providers usually do.
  2. Do they usually honor it once it's time to pay up ?
  3. But the question is - even when confirming the price beforehand, as you do - do you ask about the 'percent-off offer' they advertise in their RMass or MassFinder ad ? Do they honor that offer when you show up for the appointment ? I should elaborate on my above post: I usually confirm, too, when making the appointment via text and mention the advertised offer, to which they say 'yes'. So if they say their rate is $200, I will respond with "I'm booking before 1 pm today, so with your 20% off you advertise, that brings it down to $160, correct ?" They ALWAYS say 'yes' via text messages back and forth. Before I undress and get on the table, I confirm once again, as I say, ' just to make sure, so we understand each other, according to your ad...' I get one of the three responses at that point: 1. Yes, that is correct (usually about 20% of the time). They honor their offer in the ad. 2. No, that offer expired (or no, that's just when I'm home..) - when I point out our text message exchange from a few hours before, they just shrug their shoulders and pretend they misunderstood. They don't honor their own offer. 3. They look baffled, and then tell me no. I show them our text exchange and they tell me their English is 'no good'. I show them their own ad with the offer, and they say 'English is no good'. But it's good enough for them to charge their regular rate. So I'm curious how others handle this ? (PS - I also see '20% off' with a 'military ID', with a 'student ID', with a 'First Responder ID', etc. Non apply to me.)
  4. When she says "all sales are final", she means it. Case closed. She probably had her 'refund policy' tattooed on her boobs.
  5. Just saw a segment on CNN which says 'private labels' in supermarkets are really taking off with consumers, and will increase over the next year 'under the new economy'. Private labels are usually 25% off the name brands (on average), and as prices rise this year due to the tariffs, both brands will raise their prices. I live alone, and usually shop at Market Basket in my area (an expanding privately-owned market chain in MA / RI /NH). If I'm not in the area to shop there (or their parking lot is packed), I will go down the street and pick up a few things at Price Rite (aka 'Shop Rite' or 'Bowl and Basket' in other regions). 90% of the time I will buy the store brand (dairy items, bread items, condiments, canned goods, sliced deli cheese or meats, etc.) and have never seen a difference in taste or quality. If I'm saving 25%, I'm happy with it. I also belong to BJ's Club, buy gas at their gas station, buy all my papergoods there (the BJ's brand) and it lasts me for months. I've also bought clothes at BJs - most recently some (pastel colors) cotton Spring pull-over sweaters under their name for under $20, and have gotten dozens of compliments on them in the past week or so. How do you shop, and do you think you will make changes in the coming months ?
  6. This is the growing problem I'm seeing in my area (RI/Southeastern MA) for the past few years. And when I have tried the new guys out in the past, I find they have no experience (despite what their ad says). Just a handsome face, hot body for me to touch, nice dick I can play with, and a bottle of J&J Baby Oil they liberally pour all over my ass (not the rest of my body) and rub my ass before they turn me over in 15 minutes. All mine for $200+ and the hour appointment is over in 40 minutes.
  7. I've noticed over the years many providers (especially travelers) advertise a 'percentage off' for new clients, or if you book Mon- Wed, or before 1 pm, etc. These percentages range from 10 - 25% off their regular rates (and it's mostly masseurs, though I've seen it in escort ads as well). So my question is : Do you usually take advantage of these offers, and how do you bring it up when it's time to pay (or sooner) ? Through experience, I notice they never bring it up themselves (even though it's in their ads). I've mentioned it a few times before I get on the table, and sometimes they acknowledge it and other times they say, 'oh, that expired' (but it's still in their ads). I don't push it. How do /would others handle it ?
  8. Billymonterohot is 26 yo and has been doing massage since he was 19, according to his profile. He's in my area now. Only has a handful of reviews from a year ago (all within a couple of weeks of each other), pricing was about $200 /hr, though his first client paid $550 for two hours and said he speaks 'no English'. Has anybody tried him in the past year ? 9. I love a good, relaxing (erotic) massage. If I could have one at least once a month, I would - at a cap at $200. However, there are not enough masseurs in my location (southeastern New England) and I refuse to drive to the Boston area to see one for a number of reasons (traffic, driving, parking in an area I'm not familiar with ). The masseurs in my immediate area have been tried by me, and have not lived up to my expectations. So I depend on travelers to come through my area, and I have found a couple I really enjoy and try to make my schedule work with theirs. The problem is, they don't come through often enough - and when they do, they advertise for a weekday for a 24 hour period. As a working man, that means I have to try to get an evening / after-work appointment with them and they are usually booked if I don't act quickly. So far, the last time I booked a provider was one of my favorites who traveled through here the first weekend of February. I would try some new providers who travel through, however paying 'escort prices' for a masseur who just joined RMass a month ago is not what I'm interested in.
  10. It's not the stock market affecting these providers, it's the stock market affecting their booked clients. As these clients (of retirement age, or near retirement age) see their investments collapse, they are canceling on their pre-booked providers. They are canceling their 'all day Saturday' or '3 hour Sunday' appointments they booked prior to April 2. Now they are scrambling to fill up their schedule (and understandably so).
  11. Ahhh...mystery solved ! Now we know who bought those two tickets to Snow White last week. Everyone thought those ticket buyers were going to remain anonymous. Brave for you two to step forward, I must say. 😂
  12. The ravages of time - and battling cancer for years.
  13. Saw him in 'Batman' as well as 'The Doors' - in which he was robbed of an Oscar for his portrayal of Jim Morrison. I believe I saw him in a few others too (not Top Gun, as I never liked Tom Cruise). I also saw part of his documentary his son did on him a couple of years ago for one of the streamers (Netflix ? Amazon?), but couldn't finish it. It really ripped my heart out to see what cancer did to this wonderful actor.
  14. I thought this was on AppleTV, which I don't have. I didn't know it was on PBS !
  15. My Italian-American parents, and all their friends they socialized throughout their married lives, loved Johnny Mathis. When I was 'old enough' to attend concerts (13+) the concerts I would go to were Johnny Mathis concerts at the 'summer theater-in-the-round' throughout southeastern New England with my older sister and parents. Of course, I wanted to see singers I was liking back then (ABBA, Olivia Newton-John, Diana Ross) but those would have to wait until high school / college - as a young teen it was Mathis. I really grew to appreciate his talent over the years, and now that my parents are gone (as well as all their friends) his music has a special place in my heart. (As for female singers - it was Dionne Warwick whom they loved and followed - and I was brought to her concerts, too. I became a big Warwick fan when I was around 10). About six months ago, my sister saw him in concert - it was about a week before his birthday, and he was touring my area (I think with the current concert tour mentioned above). She said it was sad to see him; though his voice was still there, he was rather frail (had to sit on high armed chair for the 75 minutes), and forgot lyrics to most of the songs. He didn't speak much to the audience between songs, and didn't make banter with his musicians on stage as he used to.
  16. I will admit that I always wanted a 'Wolfie Doll' - the stuffed werewolf that Eddie Munster carried around on 'The Munsters' back in the 60s. They came out back then (I was around 3 years old) and if anyone has from back then, you're sitting with a small fortune you can cash in for your retirement. As for my OP, I don't know if I necessarily agree with this for many Millennials and Zoomers in my life, whom I deal with on a daily basis. They are the two generations (b. 1981-1996 / 1996-2009) who have been struggling with 'delayed adolescence' as they grow older. These are the ones who routinely say 'I don't like being a grown-up' and 'Adulting is not for me', and can't handle the responsibilities someone at their age should be handling (like a 'job') as other generations have done when we were their age. I don't think a stuffed animal in their beds are helping them grow up - I'd rather see them with a dog or a cat in their bed which they take care of every day...(sigh) but then that silly 'adulting' gets in the way. Just my opinion. (For the record, I sleep with my best friend every night - my 9 year old 'Shorkie').
  17. Legendary crooner Johnny Mathis, who turns 90 in six months, has announced he's retiring from performing in concert - something he has done around the globe for the past 7 decades - citing 'accelerating age and memory issues'. Mathis has currently been on the road with his '2025 Voice of Romance Tour' which was to conclude in November, but his handlers have canceled the last four dates of the tour last week. His last concert will be on May 18, at the Bergen Performing Arts Center in Englewood, NJ. The venue seats just under 1,400 and the concert is sold out already. Some third-party sites are re-selling tickets for nearly $500. Singer Johnny Mathis announces retirement, cancels concerts due to... 18. Max Genecov is a doctoral candidate in clinical psychology at the University of Pennsylvania, a dad, and a stuffed animal owner. “I’ve always had them growing up, I had a big fantasy life with them (as a child),” he said. “I just think that they’re nice things you have.” He has a plush racoon from his childhood, crochets them when friends or family have babies, and still sometimes hugs a stuffed animal or uses one as a pillow when he sleeps, he said. It might sound unusual, but when you think about it –– is it really? Plush sales grew over the Covid-19 pandemic, and in 2024, 21% of plush toys were sold to adults over 18, according to Juli Lennett, US toys industry adviser at Circana, a market research and technology company in Chicago. Stuffed animals “struck a chord with young adults and adults as a means to entertain, collect, and provide comfort during the pandemic,” she said in an email. Build-A-Bear even has an entire section of its website dedicated to products for grown-ups. A survey the company commissioned found that more than half of people held on to a childhood stuffed animal, and about 40% said they sleep with a plush toy. “I wonder if people are seeking more comfort in the face of uncertainty,” said Dr. Jade Wu, a sleep psychologist and founder of Thrive Sleep Clinic in Durham, North Carolina. And for people living on their own, it could be nice to have something to cuddle with at night, she added. There is nothing wrong with having a stuffed animal as an adult or using one to sleep better, experts said. In fact, there are a lot of positives to it. Adults can sleep with stuffed animals, too. It might even be a good thing, experts say | CNN WWW.CNN.COM Many people had a favorite stuffed animal as a child, and many more than you think might still have one. Experts explain why they could be beneficial for...
  19. I'm curious - what went wrong ?
  20. This struck me as odd on his website: To decrease the amount of cash entering this business, there is a $5 fee for cash. Now I've heard of businesses charging extra for accepting Credit Cards and other forms of electronic payments - but charging extra to pay for services with cash ? Seriously ?
  21. Anything at all on this hottie ? I really want to book with him and he's here for the next couple of days. Interestingly, he describes himself as 'lightly hairy' but from the shirtless photos he shared in his ad- not a strand of hair on his sexy body.
  22. An update from last I posted about him on Feb19. He has not been in my area since early 2024. I knew he was moving to Manhattan, and then his plan was eventually off to Chicago where is family lives. By his ads, it looks like that is what he did. Rather recently, I received a 'Hey, how are you ?' text from him. I responded, thinking maybe he was heading back this way for a weekend or week and I'd get a head start for an appointment (some travelers do that with clients). But the text was not about his visiting here - he asked me for a 'loan' to help him out with rent, because business wasn't as good as he hoped and he had his own apartment in Chicago. He reminded me he had Venmo, and promised to 'pay me back' as soon as things turned around. I told him I'm not in the position to ever do that, and have since blocked him. Just an FYI. I thought it odd he'd be reaching out to me, as someone who hasn't seen him in over a year. (My first appointment was in September, 2023 my second was in January, 2024).
  23. Again, just to make sure we don't confuse the actual scenario, it's been established that the photographer was NOT employed by anyone there, so he was not there in a professional capacity. He apparently had heard a commercial was being filmed, he was near the location (for whatever reason) and decided to wander over and see the commercial being made. Diddy happened to be there as well (not sure in what capacity) and the two of them were somehow introduced. I know the photographer was not employed by anyone there.
  24. That's probably one of the easiest fixes of any massage experience. My masseurs usually do check in with me as they move around my body and ask, "How's the pressure ?" or "How does that feel?" and encourage me to tell them if the pressure needs to change. If he didn't check in with you, speak up and tell him ! Tell him you need more pressure on any part of your body while he's working on you. He will make the adjustments.
  25. That's quite different than the photographer / Diddy situation. Diddy didn't hire him as a sexual provider, nor was the photographer presenting himself as such. This wasn't a business deal.
