I would not say the US travel advisory map is entirely useless, but it is flawed in a very significant way. Look at Mexico... The map assigns a travel advisory or risk level to an entire Mexican state. For example, Puerto Vallarta is in the sate of Jalisco. Mexico City is in the State of Mexico (state and city have the same name). The entire state of Jalisco, including Puerto Vallarta, is assigned a higher risk level than the State of Mexico (ie, Mexico City). If you go by this advisory map, you'd think that Mexico City is safer than Puerto Vallarta. What?! There are areas of Mexico City where not even taxis driver will go. Puerto Vallarta in comparison, is extremely safe (especially the tourist areas). If travel risk was assigned to the US in the same way, the safest city in the state of Illinois would be have the same risk level as the most dangerous area of Chicago.

Yes to Puerto Vallarta! Count me in. I love the idea of Rio as well. I can't think of a location better suited to this group. I haven't been there in a while and would love to return. To the best of my knowledge, there is no single set of operational standards that every escort must follow (except possibly in your head). Maybe you should publish a book of operational standards for the escort industry and get it approved by the escort certification board.

If this was a proposal for a coordinated rate increase independent of SESTA/FOSTA, my reaction would be, great! More power to you! Seems like the answer depends on the numbers. If his rate is on the low end and you're only paying for an hour and his uber/parking expense eats up a large percentage of his profits, it makes sense for you to pay those expenses. If his hourly rate is already high for your market and you're paying for several hours (like an overnight), he should not ask you to also pay for his uber or parking.
