  1. He knocked on the door. You heard the knock. You yelled that you were coming. He heard you and left the package because he knew you coming. You now safely have the package. Take a deep breath and relax.
  2. This question needs to be narrowed down (a lot) to get a meaningful answer. If you are, let's say, a school guidance councilor advising a high school senior who is considering going into the escorting business, it might be meaningful to tell him the average annual income of an escort who has at least x client appointments per year and is working in a specific city. That might help your student decide whether he wants to be an escort or an accountant. Otherwise, an annual average is meaningless.
  3. As I sometimes do with a picture posted to the Gallery, I googled this guy. In the process I learned two new terms: Bronsexual Anybody who is a huge fan of Lebron James or dickriding LeBron James. They become fans of any team LeBron James plays for. These type of individuals thinks that LeBron James is better than Michael Jordan. Example: 1. Brian Windhorst of ESPN is the #1 Bronsexual in the universe since he dickrides LeBron James more than Libertarians dickrides Rand Paul. Dick Ride (Dick-Riding) To give undue praise to another person. This is usually from on man to another but is not limited in its use. Examples: 1: Wow. ESPN loves to dick ride the Yankees! 2: That guy was totally 'dick riding' that rapper because he was hoping to get noticed. Reference: urbandictionary.com
  4. I would not say the US travel advisory map is entirely useless, but it is flawed in a very significant way. Look at Mexico... The map assigns a travel advisory or risk level to an entire Mexican state. For example, Puerto Vallarta is in the sate of Jalisco. Mexico City is in the State of Mexico (state and city have the same name). The entire state of Jalisco, including Puerto Vallarta, is assigned a higher risk level than the State of Mexico (ie, Mexico City). If you go by this advisory map, you'd think that Mexico City is safer than Puerto Vallarta. What?! There are areas of Mexico City where not even taxis driver will go. Puerto Vallarta in comparison, is extremely safe (especially the tourist areas). If travel risk was assigned to the US in the same way, the safest city in the state of Illinois would be have the same risk level as the most dangerous area of Chicago.
  5. Yes to Puerto Vallarta! Count me in. I love the idea of Rio as well. I can't think of a location better suited to this group. I haven't been there in a while and would love to return. Of course it's a bit of trek and harder to navigate than, let's say, Puerto Vallarta. Maybe Mexico first and if that goes well, graduate to Brazil.
  6. If you want an additional forum gathering in another location, you are free to organize it. Set a date, reserve the venues, post notices and invitations. Be positive and welcoming.
  7. To the best of my knowledge, there is no single set of operational standards that every escort must follow (except possibly in your head). Maybe you should publish a book of operational standards for the escort industry and get it approved by the escort certification board.
  8. Good on you for donating a percentage of your fee and asking clients to match it. As a client, this is an approach that I would respond to. It makes escort and client partners in a common cause.
  9. I now understand that you were joking about a surcharge, but maybe that's not a bad idea.. but with a twist: A 10% surcharge is waived for clients who show proof of an equal contribution to an organization that lobbies for sex worker rights or provides legal support for people who host websites. If a client is uncomfortable with making a direct contribution (privacy reasons), you collect the surcharge and then contribute that amount to one the organizations.
  10. I can think of a more productive form of resistance. "Dear Fellow Providers, This letter is in regards to the Sex Worker Protection campaign of 2018, #SexWorkerProtection2018. You may be aware of the effects FOSTA/SESTA has had on your business and peace of mind. I am requesting, on the behalf of the entire adult industry, that you ask your clients to contribute an amount equal to 10% of your fee (or more), to one of following organizations that lobby for sex worker rights or provide legal support for people who host websites related to sex work: < list of organizations> etc... " This is what would motivate me to spend more money as opposed to the opportunistic money-grab being proposed by the OP.
  11. US Federal Trade Commission, Price Fixing: "Price fixing is an agreement (written, verbal, or inferred from conduct) among competitors that raises, lowers, or stabilizes prices or competitive terms. Generally, the antitrust laws require that each company establish prices and other terms on its own, without agreeing with a competitor. When consumers make choices about what products and services to buy, they expect that the price has been determined freely on the basis of supply and demand, not by an agreement among competitors. When competitors agree to restrict competition, the result is often higher prices. Accordingly, price fixing is a major concern of government antitrust enforcement. <...> A plain agreement among competitors to fix prices is almost always illegal, whether prices are fixed at a minimum, maximum, or within some range." Escorts in the US don't work within the confines the law, so I guess they don't need to worry about price fixing.
  12. If this was a proposal for a coordinated rate increase independent of SESTA/FOSTA, my reaction would be, great! More power to you! As entrepreneurs, you should do what it takes to get the most that the market will pay. But attempting to use SESTA/FOSTA as justification comes across as opportunistic in way that is deceitful and exploitative. @stevenkesslar posted that the move to increase rates seems like an act of resistance. I agree. The problem is, the resistance is directed at paying clients instead of the new legislation (it's easier to protest to your clients than to legislators). @FTM Zachary Prince goes as far as saying that maybe he'll "tack on a $100 FOSTA/SESTA surcharge just to make a point." My question is, to whom are you making the point?
  13. If I post a positive review I do not expect the escort to thank me. If I'm writing a good review I'll imagine him being pleased when he reads it and that's good enough for me.
  14. Seems like the answer depends on the numbers. If his rate is on the low end and you're only paying for an hour and his uber/parking expense eats up a large percentage of his profits, it makes sense for you to pay those expenses. If his hourly rate is already high for your market and you're paying for several hours (like an overnight), he should not ask you to also pay for his uber or parking.
  15. A group of gays is called... a group of gays.
  16. It takes me a minute or two to adjust to the subtitles, but then I forget that I'm reading the dialog and it becomes second nature.
  17. Agree. I've known for a while that site admins can read my PMs -- if they want to. But why would they want to? It's not like I'm plotting to hijack the site. I'm pretty sure my PMs are no more interesting or salacious than the average. As long as I respect the site rules, I've got nothing to worry about.
  18. I stayed there just over a year ago and agree that if you want quiet, you should get a room that faces 15th St (back side of the hotel). Even with the privacy gates, there's noise coming from Market St. Also, the rooms in back are newer. They're pretty basic, but very clean and comfortable. I'd stay there again. The neighborhood is great. It's close to Castro St and on the edge of the Mission District. Tons of places to eat. I was having lunch one day at an outdoor patio cafe just a couple blocks down Market when I thought I recognized the guy at the next table. I wasn't 100% sure so I pulled up his rentmen ad on my phone and verified that yes, it was indeed him. I had a little swooning episode, but didn't talk to him. The other guy at the table looked like he might be a client. http://www.sanfranciscotravelersguide.com/image-files/becks-motel-exterior-800-2x1.jpg
  19. My trips to strip clubs in Ft Lauderdale and Miami have been too infrequent and sporadic to make a fair assessment. Regarding Montreal, I've never been into twinks so I wouldn't know about Taboo and the bar previously known as Adonis (can't remember its current name). But I can't say that I've seen a decline in the Montreal clubs that interest me, Campus and Stock Bar. I'm often disappointed when a favorite dancer is no longer at a club when I make a return trip, but there's always someone new and Crush Worthy.

Thank you for posting this. I've seen other postings on this site that have denigrated clients or an escort by giving a very one-sided account of an incident. I appreciate knowing the other side of the story.
  21. Step 1. Consider your interests and how you want to spend your time. Find a city that matches. Step 2. Check the weather averages for that city and decide if it suits you. https://www.usclimatedata.com/
  22. I like that this company has a focus on adventure and education. Their excursions to Scotland and the Galapagos Islands look especially interesting. Although they'll pair you with another single passenger to stay in a double room, they offer the option of having a room to yourself for more money (which is what I would do). Definitely something to consider.
