Spent 4 hours with Sean Knight at an LAX hotel....I was underwhelmed. I think he was in an odd spot, perhaps wrapping up that part of his careeer..maybe some mental conflict IDK. Nice guy, but yeah I was underwhelmed.
I'd be curious to know about the timing. Sean disappeared abruptly mid-2011.

Up to now (80), I've usually said 100, because I have always wanted to know what's just around the next corner, even when I get to the ultimate corner. OTOH, now that the country is going to hell and we're at the end of our 230-year experiment in democracy, I care less and less about how long I want to stick around. Also, now that I'm starting to fray a little around the edges, I'm getting less confident about making it to the goal line. I'm more attentive to letting people know now how much they have meant to me, especially the escorts, since I don't see them all that often. Right now I'm working -- again -- on making things easier for the kids to manage the funeral details, to have the references of people to notify, to know how to handle the final bills, and in general, how to get past the mundane part of my post-life.
Leaves them more time to grieve.

I'll see him this week, and I am soo tempted to say Nyah, Nyah, Nyah to y'all. But I won't.
Shout-out to C from HB.

"reaching out"
This!
My drug company intends to reach out to my physician for a new prescription, but I don't think he wants to cuddle.
-
No, wait. Not candles. Several thousand chipmunks scampering frantically in their little revolving cages.

Dudes, just get an all-electric car! I loves me my 2018 Bolt EV. I use it and only it for city and for near-by destinations, then I rent an old-fashioned ICE for long-distance travel. Sweet.

And the previous advice about fibre stands.
Sorry to be so dense, Mike, but do you mean more or less fiber/fibre? I already get a fair amount daily from Fiber One cereal for breakfast. Except on the days of the morning appointments, that is.

I have not met Avi Dar, but have seen Ben a number of times. OMG, the muscles are to die for. Some of his pics on Rent.Men are from a few years ago, but the newer ones show that he is even more muscular than I remember. If the smoking or the resulting smell are a problem for you, as they are for me, ask him about it. I'm sure you'll get an honest answer. For a while, he was using the fake cigarettes, and that worked.

What if the only time you can meet is in the morning, say 8-ish to 11-ish, not an overnight? What kind of meal schedule do you suggest? As an added complication, what if you normally have a morning "evacuation" after 8-ish?
(Asking for a friend.)

Are most clients old enough to be the escort's father? Not a criticism, just an observation.
At age 79, I could hardly be anything other than older than my escorts.

(My mother told me that when she was a kid, she thought the "of thee I sing" lyric in "My Country 'Tis Of Thee," sung every morning when she was in school, was really "of T-I-C" - because that was one of the local radio/TV stations. )
Then there's "Gladly, the Cross-Eyed Bear," one of my favorites.
How about metatheses? --"What's the weather like today?" "Bricks." --"How do you like your bacon" "Crips."

The filler "um" has been replaced by the odious "like". I prefer um.
Mmmmmm, fer shur.

not meant to be understood literally.
Precisely.

Phatic expression
In linguistics, a phatic expression /ˈfætᵻk/ is communication which serves a social function such as small talk and social pleasantries that don't seek or offer any information of value. For example, greetings such as "hello" and "how are you?" are phatic expressions.
Understanding
The utterance of a phatic expression is a kind of speech act. According to Malinowski, even such apparently "purposeless" communication as polite small talk, like "how are you?" or "have a nice day," even though its content may be trivial or irrelevant to the situation, performs the important function of establishing, maintaining, and managing bonds of sociality between participants.
In speech communication the term means "small talk" (conversation for its own sake) and has also been called "grooming talking."
English
For example: "You're welcome" is not intended to convey the message that the hearer is welcome; it is a phatic response to being thanked, which in turn is a phatic whose function is to acknowledge the receipt of a benefit.
Similarly, the question "how are you?" is usually an automatic component of a social encounter. Although there are times when "how are you?" is asked in a sincere, concerned manner and does in fact anticipate a detailed response regarding the respondent's present state, this needs to be pragmatically inferred from context and intonation.
The following is a specific example of the former: a simple, basic exchange between two acquaintances in a non-formal environment.
Speaker one: "What's up? (US English. In UK English this means "is there something wrong?")Speaker two: "Hey, how's it going?"Conversely:
Speaker one: "Alright? (UK English. In US English this means "is there something wrong?")Speaker two: "You alright."Neither speaker expects an actual answer to the question. Much like a shared nod, it is an indication that each has recognized the other's presence and has therefore sufficiently performed that particular social duty.

Ah, good point. I think I will need to see him up close and personal in order to find out if the steroid look puts me off.
Thanks, Epigonos

I don't know if this is legal. Here are the comments from his reviews on rentmen.com
"After a few back and forth messages, we agreed on a time to meet. The pictures are 100% accurate. Wow. It's like massaging a solid rock! He was very attentive to all my needs and was very flexible in listening to my special requests. Do yourself a favor and rent him!"
"Very relaxed, nice guy with an extremely hot body. He did not disappoint."
"Very sweet guy, kind of shy at first but easy to talk to. SUPER HOT body!!"
"If you are looking for a young, muscular bodybuilder Mr.Michael is your man. Pictures are 100% accurate. I will be seeing him again."
[i love this one!] "Amazing experience and will repeat it. No rush, wonderful time was had. Care was taken to realize my fantasy, as well he respected my feelings about it. Michael is a sweet soul, with a killer body. Great combination. ;0)"
Thanks, Earl Gallahad. I don't have access to comments like that, but that's exactly what I wanted to know. Now where's my cellphone?

Sounds as if I should make another trip to Vegas!

Any experiences or red flags?
I'm looking for muscle and a low-key experience.

I saw Dean several years ago. At that time, he seemed to have two personas (personae?) on his website, one cheerful and fun-loving, the other sullen/surly and tough. I wanted cheerful, but I got sullen. At the time, I didn't know how to ask for what I wanted, so the whole event was meh. If you're in the same town and need to fill an hour or two and can ask for what you want, I think you might do OK, but based only on my experience from several years ago, I'd give him a B+
Gotta say, though, he looks even better in the current Rentmen pics than he did back then.

AFMuscles graduated and has a good job now out of state....
Studguard - only emailed him and he sounded very honest...might be edging into his 40s now if age is important
Thanks, Old Timer.

@gp0560 Wow - your organizational skills are super impressive. Content, layout - everything.
If you're available, I'd hire you for every one of my escort trips to pre-determine every lay.
Kudos - I'm serious. This was not a facetious comment! After all this work, I can only wish you the best sex trip of your life!
Careful with the sweet talk, buddy, or you'll end up on the list, too. . . Properly classified, of course.

Precaution v. Paranoia

Another metric that interests me is deaths per million. The impact of 10,000 deaths on a population of 100,000 must be substantially different from the impact on a population of 1,000,000. It seems to me that the COVID-19 virus would end up causing a much more altered society in the first case than it would in the second.
Our.world.in data.org has enough charts with enough user control to satisfy almost any data freak. Start with these two, and play around with the variety of ways you can look at the data.
