  1. WOW!! I'd hire hire him when he's in Portland.
  2. About 18 months ago I noticed a drastic change in my signature. My writing has gotten so bad (due to involuntary trembles in my right hand) I can't even write notes in meetings. Me or no one else can read what I've written. I use a rubber stamp for return addresses on envelopes. I use the computer to print out labels for the addressee. And it's not just writing. I have to be careful what food I order in public. Soup is the worst. Unless I can stab it with a fork, it has little chance of actually reaching my mouth. Some days it's not bad but other days it is terrible. I even have trouble using the mouse to click an icon. Looking into PC alternatives - perhaps voice recognition.
  3. Don't know if this is happening elsewhere but here in Portland I'm noticing a strange TV ad for Jimmy Dean Sausage. He sold the company to Sara Lee in 1984. They have continued to use his folksy ad since buying the company. However there has been a real increase in the number and frequencies in the ads. Am I the only one that finds it strange they still running Jimmy Dean's commercials?? He's been dead over 8 (yes EIGHT) years. I find it creepy to hear dead man still pitching sausage for a company he sold almost 35 years ago.
  4. Very interesting article about 2 identical twins who are just completing their joint transition from female to male. At the the age to 15 they confided to each other they were not comfortable as female. They waited until after high school to start the transition. They are now 23 years old and both work as correction officers. http://www.towleroad.com/2018/10/identical-twins/
  5. Any reason you're not providing your location?? Hard to respond when we have not f**king clue where you're located. Don't think we have a a lot of clairvoyants on this site.
  6. I have season tickets to the Eccles Theater in Salt Lake City. Our tickets are on the 6th row and on the inside aisle. Not a big fan of sitting in the balcony or mezzanine.
  7. Another suggestion (since I live alone), I've stopped locking my door at night. If I ever needed to call 911, they'd have to break down the door to get in if it was locked. Not a good thing. So, whenever I'm home, the front door is unlocked. I live in a safe neighborhood so I'm not worried. Plus, I always have one of my guns on me or on the nightstand when I'm in bed. I feel very safe and more comfortable knowing EMS can get in if something happens.
  8. When I lived in San Diego I woke up one morning in terrible pain. It took me almost an hour to get out of bed and stand up. First thing I did was go to Goodwill and get a walker for about $5. This same problem continued when I visited my Portland condo. But, I didn't bring my walker with me. Again, it was a trip to Salvation Army and this walker was $6. Also went to the thrift shops for canes. I keep one in the house and use it instead of grabbing the walls or furniture. I keep another in my SUV for when I go shopping. I'm now past the walker stage but still rely on the canes for those days when I'm not stable on my feet. Another device I suggest is getting a toilet seat extension with arms. On Labor Day I lost my balance getting off the toilet and my right side collided with the granite vanity (cracked a couple of ribs) and I dropped to the floor. The vanity was too high to help me get up. So, I ended up crawling to the bedroom and was able to use the bed to pull myself up. The next morning I got a toilet seat extension with arms. It cost $35 and installed with no tools in 5 minutes. Didn't even have to remove the old toilet seat. Haven't had any more problems and I really like I got the model with arms.
  9. Uber Eats is only one option. In San Diego they also used Grub Hub.
  10. Thanks for the link. It confirms this is NOT a remake (like I originally thought). It's actually a sequel. Glad they're not remaking the original.
  11. I liked the original so much. But, it would be interesting to see this version. Glad to see Dick Van Dyke is in this new version.
  12. Is this what you're looking for? https://www.etsy.com/listing/570410810/handicapped-symbol-tee-graphic-tshirt?gpla=1&gao=1&&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=shopping_us_e-clothing-mens_clothing-other&utm_custom1=52abc263-f590-4adb-807f-c251c3ed3cc3&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI-ozu9M--3QIVCKvsCh2rDg8oEAQYASABEgLr3_D_BwE I've developed mobility issues in the past year. I currently need a cane 24 / 7 including at home. Will probably need a handicap sticker in less than a year.
  13. When I lived in Detroit I usually put my "real" wallet in my left sock. ID and 1 credit card in my right front pocket along with a money clip. I kept a "throw away" wallet in my left back pocket. That contained about $10 cash and imitation credit cards that were sent in snail mail as solicitations. The throw away was intended to be given if I was robbed in public. Still use that same system when I now travel outside the USA.
  14. I can't tell how exciting it was to David in person. Wonderful piece of artwork.
  15. Lance, don't mean to possibly hijack this thread but I'd be interested in some clarification. When people are asking you questions is this thru e-mail or text message? In the past few years I've noticed more escorts moving away from e-mail and preferring text messages. That frustrates me because if I have questions it usually requires multiple texts instead of a short, concise e-mail with bullet point questions. And, I didn't get a personal smart phone with text capabilities until 3 years ago. Does the manner of communication become a factor? IMHO, the easier the communication the quicker it is for me and the more likely I am to hire. And, I can't imagine a 15-20 minute phone call just to set up a meeting or make a decision.
  16. Totally agree that I've enjoyed them. However, I think their breakup video was well done and I can't disagree with their decision to focus on their own lives. Wouldn't be surprised to see them get together again.
  17. Didn't know friendboy existed. Thanks for the new info!!
  18. One of my homes is just north of SLC. I'd really like to take a chance on Kipp. 3 positive review on RM and he's gorgeous. He really turns my crank. SLC is notorious for a lack of escorts. Victor Powers is on my list but apparently your schedules don't sink. Please let us know what you find in SLC. I'm always looking for local options.
  19. Around November 2017 I started having the beginnings of minor panic attacks while driving home on the San Diego freeway (heart palpitations, shallow breathing, and shaking hands). The Dr. prescribed meds that helped but then I started getting the same symptoms while at work. However, driving was still an issue and I didn't feel it was safe for me to continue driving in San Diego. I'm now semi-retired (only work 40 hours per month) and relocated to my condo in Oregon. The panic attacks have subsided and I have no problems driving in Oregon. Since retiring my sleep patterns have dramatically improved and body feels more rested than it did when I lived / worked in San Diego. I have no problems taking meds for anxiety. But, removing the source of stress has been the key to resolving the issues in my case.
  20. One guy that I hired several times was later convicted of murder. I was so lucky not be a victim.
  21. I've done several Altantis & RSVP cruses in the past. But, like you, I'll not do them again. My last 3 cruises have been on Viking. They are now my preferred vendor.
  22. My uncle didn't MAKE prank phone calls but he pranked several people that called him. His phone number was one number different from a very popular night club. One year he got about 25 calls for the New Years Eve celebration. He asked for their names and promised them all the best table for New Years Eve. Imagine their surprise when the poor people showed up and found out that they did NOT have a reservation.
  23. Unfortunately, I've started calling the local clothes stores the "Outhouse". They are always out of my size. My inseam is 38" and my long sleeve shirts sizes are never in stock. I also need the Tall shirts for the additional length. About a year ago I started shopping on-line and have no problems finding my size. There was once when I tried an "off brand" and the size was smaller than other brands. But when I use brands I've purchased before I have no problems.
  24. I bought a Citizen about 6 years ago with eco drive technology. You don't need to wind it or change batteries. The movement of your hand keeps it running. Have had no problems or issues with it. I really like SEIKOs. Maybe it just needs a good cleaning.
