With two regulars, and many in the past, overnights and weekends are fantastic. We usually have an extended session in the spare room, then clean up and go to bed. I’m not a cuddler, nor are they. In my experience the company is really the reason for an overnight, not 12 or so hours of action. It’s about being with someone you feel comfortable with to chat, eat, relax, bathe, walk, and of course get intimate with each other over the course of the session. Clients book it as an escape from normal life. 

Not every provider needs to offer every service. Sounds like overnights may not be a good match for you, and that’s fine.

He was simply giving you options and clarifying, which is important in this industry. Would you prefer if he simply responded “$2,000 for an overnight” without detailing the amount of time you two would spend together? An overnight could be 6 hours or 12 hours or more or less. 
Let’s do better not to complain or name call and assume this and that when a provider gives excellent service and provides detailed communication of exactly what to expect.
