He was ready to go…. felt his job was completed.  

It was never about how you look or how you are in the bedroom. We are hiring these guys to do work for us. They're doing this as their job, and they only have one job: that is to "provide" sexual services. They are "sex providers". This guy sadly chose not to do the job properly when he was with you.

I met MaxME a little over a week ago in Los Angeles.  This is how it went:  I contacted him via text and he was pretty responsive.  I was upfront about what I was looking for and he was cool with it.  I asked him a few times how much he charges for his time and he always seemed to dodge the question.  Finally the day came for us to meet at an agreed upon time.  I texted that morning to confirm and he said he had other plans at the prescribed time and could I shift the time?  I explained that I was unable to do so, so he then agreed to the original time.  He then asked me if I knew the fee for his time (I felt like saying, "No because every time I ask you don't tell me," but I let it slide.  He quoted me a price of $1000.  I promptly told him that that was more than I was looking to spend.  He asked how much I was prepared to spend and I told him as much as $500.  He promptly agreed to it and then asked if I would add $60 for his travel cost.  Stupidly, I agreed.  He arrived right on time and I will say unequivocally that he is breathtaking.  Very tall, really handsome, and a flawless, muscled physique.  The experience itself sucked.  He was quite robotic and detached.  I actually had to imagine I was with someone else to get myself off.  It was awful.  He has a ton of great reviews on RM and a lot of positive commentary here as well so I am willing to accept that maybe I was the problem (although I'm not bad to look at and I know my way around a bedroom)... but it was definitely not a good experience... markedly worse that any I've had.  Fortunately, I rebounded and met up with a Colombian guy who goes by Salomonn on RMasseur: PHEE-nomenal experience and a great guy to hang with... and a body of death that he was all to happy to share with me.  He has a RMen  profile under the name YourFav.https://rent.men/YOURFAV

Unfortunately I met him last week in LA. Similar to @jeeper84 and @dan631 I was thoroughly underwhelmed with the experience. He was very detached, it was clear he was just there for the money, and he was mediocre at best in the bedroom with zero sexual intuition. Yes he is beautiful but I expected a lot more, especially at a rate of $500/hr. He was only there for about 40 min but honestly I wanted to send him home even sooner. I’ve had much better experiences with other guys who are more handsome & charge less. 

I know this thread is old but just met up with Whitino after many random chats. A really great guy and indeed fun. I won’t name or post his expired rentmen ad here. But I found out this one escort whom I used to meet up with at least twice a month, passed away. His rate was dirt cheap too, for quickie sessions. He was really young, like early 30s, and I wonder how he died, as there is no cause of death on his obituary.

I like having a small circle of regulars (3 to 4), and I rarely have regulars that I actively drop. Various reasons why it ends:
1.  Provider quits the business altogether.
2. Provider moves to another city.
3. Sadly, death one time.
4. Providers changes the parameters of meeting. (For instance, one guy I like a lot wants a week's notice. I'm just not in a position to offer that. Another's price doubled. I just couldn't afford that steep an increase). 

5. Sometimes there's just a drifting away with no real reason.
Now I have deliberately quit reaching out to a few who radically changed what's on offer or stood me up several times in a row or got mad because I met with other providers. But usually if I'm a regular with someone and then I'm not, it's usually a change on the provider's end, not mine.

nitpicking bastard that I am, I'm wondering if the word "gay" is even necessary in the subject title.......many providers don't identify that way and I think the gist of the thread was to simply discuss any provider we used to see ("gay" or not so much).....carry on!

Ouch Ben! These are just names and handles. Maybe one of us is his type and maybe even yours   The use of RM has many purposes and attracts guys for a host of reasons…I’d like to think I’m easy on the eyes. Agree with you that most ppl aren’t camera ready. I’d imagine it’s not easy performing when there’s a lens there. 
I have no comment on Cade. He is sexy but I’ve never considered his rates or him generally. Some guys are best just left on the screen.

Most of the guys I've seen regularly, whom I no longer see, retired or stop escorting for one reason or another. By chance, some I still see sexually and some strictly on a platonic basis.
There was only one guy who still escorts currently and openly, that I don't see anymore. He's an off and on member of the forum. He just stopped responding to me, with no real explanation why. I could probably surmise why, but it was his choice to cut off contact. I bear him no ill will. I'm glad to see he's thriving and is as popular as ever, but I'd never hire him again... even if he explained why. Such is life.
This hobby can very transitory. People come and go. There were guys I was sad to see go like Alec (retired), Andrew Irons (who just stopped escorting without warning), and Johnny Ryder (who also stopped escorting abruptly) to name a few. I can't complain too much because as I mentioned some of the guys who stopped entirely, I still get to see in one way or another. Some becoming really good friends in the process.
