  1. I've never seen such enthusiastic support for one provider!

He's so lucky to have such an ardent fan.

You haven’t read any of the JamesXL or Ryan Steel threads yet, have you? They’re pretty amusing ;)

  2. Yes, +44 is the country code for the UK. The next four numbers are like an area code or exchange. The last six are the number. So assuming your WhatsApp is connected to your US number then you should add the contacts with +44.

If you end up getting a UK number, for example if you pick up a prepaid SIM card, then it’s a little different to make a call. You drop the +44, add a 0 (zero) to the front then dial the rest of the numbers. The +44 should still work for creating the contact for WhatsApp in this case.

    For example, either:

    +44 1234 567 890

    OR

    01234 567 890

  3. He expected more from a Sheraton? :)

Club floors, unless you're at a place like Four Seasons, Ritz or St Regis have scaled back to a point of uselessness.

Actually they are quite nice outside the US. I agree the domestic ones generally suck...only benefit for me is they are a convenient place to get more bottles of water to offer my visitors :)

  4. He's in LA now.....I wonder if his having gone off the deep end with conspiracy theory means he has some racial restrictions.....Having lived in the South I learned those things are usually associated with each other.

You can ask him but based on how he’s talked about his upbringing, and my own experience, he does NOT have any racial prejudices.

  5. The idea that one chooses sexual attractions is the most stupid thing I have read on this board, and there have been quite a few rivals for that title. There are any number of human characteristics that turn some people on and others off. Some of them we lump into made-up categories like race. Just because you don't want to sleep with someone doesn't mean that we don't believe that person is entitled to all human and civil rights. I don't want to screw women, but I consider myself a feminist.

People have been studying and trying to understand attraction for centuries, and they still don't know what makes us tick. But gay men have enough crosses to bear - the last thing we need is the "righteous" telling us that, in addition to our other sins, we are now "racist" or some other "-ist" because we don't find this or that characteristic attractive enough to get us erect.

I can be as hyperbolic as you:

The fact you don’t see your inherent racism as a product of your environment is mind boggling to me. That gay men have had to deal with all these “crosses” astounds me that they don’t recognize similar patterns in themselves or have empathy for those that suffer similar discrimination. No one said you can’t have a preference but to categorically dismiss one whole group because of their race without looking at the merits of that person?

Anyways I’ve NEVER seen anyone change their mind because of this type of discussion on any online message board, least of all this one, so there’s no point discussing it IMO

  6. 5 is my only consideration. Its not a leisurely drive; Im looking to make time.

Right now, still undecided. If I do it, Ill get on road 6-7 am, hoping to arrive mid-day. The idea of hitting snail's pace at Grapevine, 2-3 extra hours if bad holiday traffic throughout, and then going to a party tomorrow afternoon is daunting. As is just driving around 101 in SFV.

And 7/5 day after potential traffic might be worse.

More and more, avoidance seems prudent. If it wasnt last minute, Id have made lengthier plans, flown, etc.

Find a friend with frequent flier miles that can help you out. For example on 7/3 United still has saver award space SFO-Burbank, and on 7/5 there is saver space from a few airports for the return to SFO. Each segment is 10k miles.

  7. So you think you choose your attractions? Maybe you do, but I certainly never have. It makes absolutely no sense to me, when I think about the variety of shapes and sizes that attract me (and those that don't), but I certainly never made a conscious choice as to what gets my pecker hard. Life would have been easier if I could have LOL.

There is an implication in your statement that if I am not attracted to one ethnic group or the other that its one more thing I'm supposed to feel guilty about. Sorry, not buying.

Yes, you do choose your attractions. You are a product of the environment in which you were raised. Does that make you racist because you categorically dismiss one ethnic group? Yes. Should you feel guilty about it? Up to you.

  8. Biggerbilly,

You didnt miss much @fairytail, its a small rat infested hole, I think even the rats moved out only the flies are left.

The ride from fairytail to monster is only 10 minutes by taxi, you should have invested your time at monster.

I cant understand how adonis or luis gomez have there name on that venue.

I don’t think they do have their names. They just rent out the space or some other arrangement for the night.

I probably would have if I knew in advance it was over there. I never been to the “rat hole” but it’s in short enough working distance from work. So is Atlas, but it’s not easy with work the next day to do a Wednesday event. And I don’t live in the city. I have to also contend with the LIRR schedule.

I’d definitely encourage you to try both a Wednesday and Thursday night sometime, if you can swing it. They are both really fun and the guys only overlap about 50% so they have different vibes.
