Also it’s not “making a choice” to forgo revenue. It’s already doing something other than vegetating by the line, being unproductive and waiting on someone to schedule. Which is often unpredictable. Now, I don’t mind leaving the gym early or not going at all if I do get a spur of moment appointment. But I can’t drop what I’m doing EVERYTIME that happens. So, what works for me is to simply SPELL IT OUT IN WRITING. Every business that does this type of work does the same. Even when you order catering, they say 24 hours notice.

 

Other times it’s not even a matter of doing other things, it’s not even being given enough time to make something happen. Ask yourself, if an escort hit you up out the blue, how soon would YOU be ready to stop what you’re doing, get in the car and go see them? Just because the transaction is different, doesn’t mean the dynamics are.

 

For an escort who lives downtown in the city, and doesn’t travel, maybe doesn’t have a car and uses Lyft/Uber...10 minutes notice probably works for them. They can see someone in 10 minutes, because everything is close by and it doesn’t take much to plan. But not everyone operates the same.

And there’s nothing wrong with that...like I said I’m not villanizing someone for calling at a late hour or whatever the case may be. I’ve taken those calls, and I’d be open to take them again.

Exactly, as long he's honest about how long it will take him to get there, etc. Here in DuPont most escorts are around the area but it doesn't mean they're free and ready A.S.A.P.

I have a car and I still don’t like doing last minute appointments. Case in point:

 

I was in DuPont circle couple weeks ago and hanging with my friend at Nellies. I mean, we had a hotel that was walking distance, but it was raining and also 20 minutes walking distance to me is a long way, when you used to driving.

 

I got a call at the bar to come over to a DuPont hotel. Great, perfect. I needed the $250. But he wanted ASAP. Understandable, but my friend is the partner of my best friend. It would be an asshole move for me to have ditched him at the bar to take a Uber/Lyft, considering I drove us there. Fortunately I was able to my friend back to the hotel and then to my clients hotel. Something told me drive in case I got an appointment, despite having walked the night before.

 

However, I still had to sweet talk the client into giving me an hour to get there, even though I was right up the street. He wanted me to come sooner. I had just ate a big fish dinner, so unless he wants fishy beer breath escort to kiss him, I need my Fucking hour.
