What Does "Private" Mean in a RentMen Profile

There's a guy who, oddly enough considering my location, is showing up on the RentMen locator thing as very near by. Under his pic though it says "Private" where normally either a "Last Online" or "Online Now" shows up.

 

I scrolled through a LOT of profiles and his is the only one that has that.

 

I've tried reaching out in email and phone but am getting no response.

He’s marked his settings so his visits online are hidden, won’t show his last time online, etc.

What MBD said, a couple of guys I have checked out or have on my buddy list do this. If they are on line it shows up, but if they are not the site doesn't say when they were last on-line, it just says 'private'. I presume it adds a little distance between them and potential clients.

One escort told me that it was inconvenient to log in just to have the last visit time update. He usually logs in once a month or so to update travel or change a photo, but if the phone is ringing why go to the site? Prior to changing the setting, if he went more than a week without logging in, the inquiries became fewer.

Because there are kooky clients who actually monitor timestamps and will use it as a receipt per your timely or untimely response.
