I am getting so sick of Scott Hamilton's annoying habit of screeching, and grunting and holding out his words everytime a skater does a difficult triple jump as if he is poised to release a scream in anticipation of them to fall. What is that all about? is he expecting that they are not going to land it and fall? Or is he just expressing his emotion that "oh no, they are about to fall!, or Oh no, they did not fall afterall and nailed it!" . It's so weird and getting old. I bet the other commentators want him to shut up already. He has been doing it all throught womens programs tonight.

John Zimmerman

 

I always thought one of the hottest looking skaters was John Zimmerman, who used to skate in pairs with Ina.I doubt he is gay. He is on that cheesy "skating with the stars" show on fox channel and paired with jilian barbari ( not sure how she spells it). I don't know how to post a pic, but he is so sexy.

What a totally vacuous little prick. The Washington Post did a real assassination job on him (good on them) but Johnny is probably too stupid to get it.

When I first commented on Weir at the beginning of this thread, a reader ripped into me saying that I was "feeding the homophobes". However, I think that Weir (and the press) is doing pretty good in reinforcing the stereotype with his own words and actions. He is no role model in my book. He says that in another life he was "a little Jewish girl"...isn't that nice? As for the rich part, he better hang on to the money he is making now because his star won't shine forever.

OMG! I couldn't believe what I was reading. Thanks for providing the link to the article. Poor Johnny. How many people would even want a lot of the stuff that he's paying big Euros for? To me, much of it is overpriced useless stuff.

 

I think there's a diagnosis for at least one of his problems. It's called obsessive-compulsive shopping. If he joined a group for this problem, he would undoubtedly win first prize. I really hope he comes to his senses before it's too late.

 

Just think of all the escorts you could hire with the money he spends shopping!
