I agree about "Tigerland." Colin was truly sexually provocative, while

also giving a decent acting performance. You could almost hear the collective increased heartbeat of the audience every time he appeared on the screen. Sadly, "Alexander" and some of his other recent movies are a long way from "Tigerland."

It is possible. My circle of friends got theirs this way but the process has specific requirements. iDisk is a great way. Access to your own server is another. FTP software will also help. Simple email is useless because the files are too large.

"The New Land"

 

May we switch over to Colin Farrell's film "The New Land," now in general release. I have always enjoyed Terrence Malick's films, as few as there have been. Malick's "The New Land" is unlikely to break any box office records, Caption Smith (Colin Farrell) and Pocahontas (Q'orianka Kilcher) fall in love but most of the action is off screen.

 

Still "The New Land" is a beautiful film about the founding of the Jamestown, VA colony. This is a movie to see in its full glory in a theater, not on video or on demand at home. As many may know, Malick has made cuts in the film which will be restored when the DVD is released. The cuts apparently reduce Colin's role, which allows Pocahontas to dominate the story. Since Pocahontas is played by the suberb Q'orianka Kilcher, the reduction in Farrell's screen time is probably a good thing.

 

Colin is not really bad, but he seems frustrated in his inability to play a man who thinks more than taking action. Christian Bale fills the void and a late comer to the colony who also falls in love with Pocahontas. "The New Land" is a splendid and thoughtful film. It does raise the question of where Colin Farrell's movie career is headed.

 

"Caption Smith and Pocahontas" sang Peggy Lee "had a very mad affair"

(to borrow a line from the New York Times review). On second thought, there should have been some hot sex scenes with Farrell, Pocahontas and Bale. Peggy Lee was right.

 

 

Okay back to the sex video.
