Honestly too damn many, most of these creeps/impolite or rude clients are those who you haven't even met yet but those who are trying to set up a meet up. So many people get some sick fetish of getting off of wasting escorts time and then when an escort tells them that they can't be texting all day and to text them when they want to set up an appointment thats when they catch an attitude and call you all sorts of names lol. Thankfully not many people are so terribly mean once you meet them in person, and even if they are somewhat Im grown enough to deal with someone who we aren't seeing eye to eye for an hour. So before meeting up the ratio would be 75 percent bad seeds/ 25 percent nice guys due to all the time wasters but in person 99.9 percent nice versus /.1 percent a bad apple. The nice clients i meet in person negate all the bad seeds that may bring you down in your job as an escort

 

I'll have to say that's likely a by-product of being in (as I suppose you have stated) New York. I've never worked in New York, but I would imagine if its anything like the stereotypical image, you're dealing with a lot of people who...aren't known for being the friendliest. I wouldn't be surprised if even the occasional escort messes you over.

 

I've gotten to where I no longer like to even speak on the phone to clients who I can't text screen out first. And my texts are very direct, like an attorney's contact info form. If they can't answer the questions, they won't get thru.

 

I find what helped cut down on even those initial 75% bad seeds, is to weed them out ahead. Snip snip, nip it in the bud. I won't hesitate to address and speak to the haters, while simultaneously marketing in my ad.

I'm a client, and my partner used to be an escort. We've both had our fair share of creeps and rude people (from clients sending him on false outcalls, to escorts rushing me when they had arrived late).

The ratio is obviously worse for the escorts because he will always meet more people than the client, but clients have also had their time wasted.

 

On the other hand - take it from an old dinosaur that you've never had it so good. My partner who is nearly the same age, had no Internet, no phone and no police support when he started escorting decades ago.
