who can recommend a great sushi place with an impressive atmosphere??

Yui Edomae Sushi - best Sushi I've had in Vegas

and Best Sushi I've had in America outside of NYC.

 

Unfortunately, the atmosphere is unlikely to impress.

It's in a strip mall (like most of Vegas). The inside is

very simple and small. It's reminiscent of some of the

nicer sushi bars I've been to in Tokyo.

 

It's very nice, and I have no problem recommending it.

Anyone who's into truly sushi will appreciate it.

 

If you're more the "california roll" type....I'd go for the

gigantic Sushi Samba in the Venetian. It's very good

sushi (usually with a modern twist).

 

They are totally different atmospheres and menus.

Just depends on exactly what you're looking for.

I second Sushi Samba. Great and lively atmosphere and really good Asian fare.

Yellowtail in the Bellagio. If you’re a fan, ask to see the sake sommelier for a special list of sake and recommendations

Mizumi at the Wynn for presentation. . For non atmospheric hole-in-the Wall sushi, I prefer Sushi Twister which serves excellent tuna belly.
