There are are a number of gender neutral names like Taylor, Kim etc. so there could be opposite gender couples who have the same name.

 

But with couples of the same sex there is more of a chance the two could have the same first name.

Madison Bumgarner, pitcher for SF Giants dated a girl named Madison Bumgarner. Apparently the small town he is from in North Carolina has Bumgarner as a very common last name.
