occasionally see a request to "send uber to pick me up" in RM et al ads.....

I don't want to start playing with it on my own app to figure this out out of fear I'll order one for myself while playing....

how do you order an uber/lyft to pick somebody up at a remote location and bring them to you...and have it charged to you?.....

thanks

The "From" location automatically defaults to your current location. Just tap that box and it will let you put in any address that you want. Once a driver has picked up the ride, I send screenshots of the information to the person I am giving the ride to. I also text the driver and give them some kind of name for the rider.

Play all you want until you see the “Confirm UberX” or similar button.

I play around frequently with the App bcs I sometimes am curious how much one of my young friends will cost me for “take out” to my place. You can use a generic location on their end (civic center, school, other point of interest) as pickup point, your location (Home, hotel, Starbucks) as drop off. Then check for pricing, check to avoid “surge” pricing etc. beware the surge....one young friend was like an $18-20 ride to me, my final “confirm” for his/my schedule preference at the last minute was a nearly double $35. Delivered him back home for $15 “later...” ;)

I works for someone you know and you don't care if they know your name (on file with Uber). Otherwise, so much for discretion.

I suppose it could have happened, but no escort has ever mentioned that a driver made any comment at all about the person paying for the ride. Just confirmed that they were indeed Rocko DeLongcock and off they went.

Why would they? I mean I’ve sent and picked up family members via Uber app as well. I guess a driver could leave a negative review on my profile about a rider?
