If you hire a masseur on xmas day (25 th) should you tip more?

Just wondering.... do masseurs expect an extra tip if you hire them on the 25th?

I do not think so, but Jesus will punish you with a life with no erection because not tipping on Christmas Day is considered a mortal sin by Catholic tradition.

I don't know if they specifically expect it, but I would tip more on that day. If a regular even any time that week, really.

Think about it......most every business, store and service industry (hairstylists, nail salons, personal trainers, etc.) is closed Christmas Day. It is a Federal and State Holiday. Any masseur who is willing to give up one of the biggest Holidays of the year to work and offer massage for those of us needing the service deserves a generous tip and a huge thank you.

I tip 50% for any US federal holiday. Service workers deserve so much more... (to be clear, this is at restaurants). I haven't yet met with a service provider on a holiday

I never tip escorts - although my two regulars received Christmas gifts - but even I would pay extra on Christmas Day.
