What are the best travel destinations for hooking up? How about for a guy in his 50s?

If you aren't following @Tarte Gogo 's adventures in South America, you are missing a wealth of information. I have always wanted to go to Rio, but now I'm looking at the calendar and making serious plans! :p

Rio, is a fantastic place if you are attracted to Brazilian men (especially big, round butts). But there are many places in the world that have men that can satisfy you. It just is about how wide a range of men you are attracted to.

I have a wider range of guys than just Latin BUT for some reason have tended toward them. I find many different types very handsome and if they have the body type I like then I would go with them. However, because I am not a millionaire and because I am a creature of habit, plus shy, my ass tends to go to Rio more often than not. The men are absolutely gorgeous with unbelievable bodies and the beaches are full of beautiful men (and women if you are so inclined). The saunas are great. Just make sure you investigate which ones have the type of men you want and when they tend to be there. Many of the men speak English, but many don't. Of course, many are straight so you have to be guarded against being taken advantage of. However, over the years I have found I find guys that will be fair. Also, look out and be safe. It is a great place.

I found the range to be fully satisfying in Rio saunas. From very black to very white, from muscle-y to twinks, from very young to 40 yo, from very short to big and tall guys, from completely gay to straight blokes.

 

Not many Asians, though, apart from Nathan who is probably half Japanese (unconfirmed).

Sao Paulo is a great city. HUGE. I have never been to the saunas there. I am sure there are an incredible assortment of guys. If you have the time, fly into Sao Paulo and have fun there. Then drive along the coast to Rio (it really isn't very far). I had the good fortune to be able to stay in one of the resort towns on the beach (there are many of them) and then stay in Paraty (which is a preserved colonial town founded in the 1600s that has been nominated to be a UNESCO World Heritage Site - don't know if it made it). Then drive to Rio and have loads of sexy fun.

If I am going to fantasize about traveling to Brazil, I would not go to São Paulo. I would go to Rio and then drive North to Salvador. Afro Brazil.

Believe it or not, have also been there. It is also a great, old city. One of the older in Brasil. But it is also one of the hottest. I tried to walk around the streets and unfortunately got heat stroke. The men are really handsome but many go to Rio so you can see Afro Brasil there. As a matter of fact I hooked up with an unbelievably muscular Afro guy in a sauna in Rio who loved to get rimmed. Quite the chest. I remember it to this day. But if you have the time Salvador is very culturally interesting.

Thank you, guys. I am planning on visiting Santiago and BA, Thailand, and Hunan in China. Any suggestions for these destinations? I like reading all the suggested destinations and sex experiences.

 

My suggestion for BA is to plan a more cultural/culinary visit. Theatre, modern art, music from popular to Opera, dance from tango to ballet, arquitecture, food, are all premium quality and very affordable.

Of course take advantage of the cheap "taxi boys" from soytuyo.com and revistaratones.com, but sex tourism is not the major strength of the city. Ask @Tarte Gogo . ;)

For as BsAs is concerned-- I'd suggest that you visit both www.soytuyo.com and www.ratonesonline.com. Both have highly desirous escorts whose fees might be a tad bit higher if you're not a "porteno," a native of Buenos Aires. Most speak Spanish, but a few are bilingual: they speak English as well. My super-great, hung and hot "taxi boys" are no longer escorting, but in spite of their disappearance-- there are many others to replace.

 

I like Thailand, too, but am not that eager to be in the company of guys who look so young that they could be considered great grandsons with me. I, personally, do NOT like what's conjured up by the public when I've been in public with these cuties. To alleviate this-- I've gone to massage parlors as well as have the guys come to my hotel room to render a torrid massage.

Why travel halfway across the world in search of inexpensive sex? South America and SE Asia are beautiful places. If you're going to put yourself through 15+ hours of air travel, at least get out and soak up some culture... In addition to soaking up random gentleman ;)

Are you traveling hoping for lots of sex?

Or for a few very high quality encounters?

Do you want to significantly connect with your escorts (so you would need to share a language), or just some sexy sessions that are purely very very hot (no need to talk).

What languages do you speak?

 

I suspect the advice will be different based on your answers on the above (and I am probably forgetting many relevant questions)

I am hoping to travel a bit in the next few years. If there are destinations that offer gay sexual opportunities, I would like to possibly put them on my wish list. I want to travel for many reasons and not just to have sexual encounters but sometimes I like being in a place with a thriving gay scene that includes sexually charged options. Key West used to be fun when I visited in the 80s. Perhaps it is still wild. Palm Springs also has a lot of options. I am planning trips to Patagonia (starting in Santiago and ending in Buenos Aires), Thailand, and China next year, not for sex but if there are opportunities, well...I speak English and a little Spanish. I like feeling connected and would probably like to be able to talk to a companion but I am also experimental and would try sessions without conversation. I have little experience with escorts but I'm not opposed to the idea. I'm in my 50s so I'd want to go places where I would not be an outcast based on my age. Is that enough information? It seems like there are fewer gay places and more gay friendly places in the world but perhaps the is not accurate?
