Bumper Stickers

Yesterday I was driving to my sister's for Thanksgiving dinner and noticed a bumper sticker that made me chuckle. My 80-year-old mother, who was riding shot-gun, asked me what was so funny. Without thinking, I pointed out the rainbow striped sticker on the car ahead of us the read, "I'd rather be 69ing."

 

It was only when she asked, "What does that mean?" did I realize I made a mistake of telling her about it.

I was not specific, and simply replied that I thought it had something to do with sex.

 

As soon as I had my sister's ear without her 11-year-old nearby, I told her about the exchange with Mom. She nearly turned purple from laughing so hard.
