So I'm a real fan of Chaturbate. When I work from home, I like being able to watch hot naked men. I know watching cam shows isn't to everyone's taste, but given the number of free options it's not bad. You can watch and often have limited interaction with the models. There are a variety of body and personality types to chose from.

 

I do have favorites, and for them I tip. My top favorite is John3544, and I love watching his naked body. He does a number of tricks like handstands and balancing on a chair, so it can be a bit of a circus.

 

Anyone else have a favorite? What drew you to them? Got any you miss?

 

I know a number of the models are somewhat fake. I'm pretty sure my John is completely straight, but he's willing to show, and I'm willing to watch.

 

I'm interested in hearing from other watchers to see who they like, why, and what you think of the way the shows go.

It's free to watch in public chat, but most of the models won't interact with you too terribly much unless you're tipping them. Unless they're bored and you're just chatting with them in public chat. The general idea is to tip them to compel them to perform a certain act, to show appreciation for something they're already doing or to participate in some type of tipping game that the model is running. Some people also tip for private shows wherein the model has their attention focused only on you, maybe will watch your webcam in return, etc.

Yup! But just keep in mind that the guys are on there to make money. If you are just lurking and jerking then it's no big deal, but extracting a lot of personal attention from a model without tipping is considered bad form. So if you do find yourself developing a favorite then consider supporting him.

For Chaturbate, my favorite is MichaelNWDC. A body that is comparable to Pietro Boselli's - flawless, beautifully proportioned and not overdone. I first encountered him on cam4, where I do most of my watching (and occasionally showing off). He seemed friendly and quite literate. When he first started broadcasting, it was in a room that looked like a private library; I assumed he was a fledgling lawyer or congress critter staffer, but he would never ever answer questions about his day gig.

 

There is a more diverse spectrum of guys on cam4; at least one porn actor I mentioned in another thread, and I also mentioned having seen david-SF once as a (terrific) example of a provider. I get to practice my meager skills at french and german a lot There are a *lot* of "civilians" on cam4. Haven't managed any dates yet - compensated or free.

On dudesnude, you watch 5 cams simultaneously, and the guys on cam tend to be younger and more athletic looking, but on Bateworld, you can watch 10 cams, and the guys there are friendlier and more supportive (at least to me). The disadvantage to Bateworld is that you do have to be a paid member to use the VidChat facility, and the site owner is somewhat heavy handed about discouraging references to "insertive behavior".

I am interested in what the day jobs of some of the models are. With so much video of them out, it seems like it's highly possibly someone would find them and that could be a problem. Cumatmebrah solves that by not showing his face except in some privates. And he has a really magnificent body.

 

According to what I can find in some blog posts, you can make some good money doing this. It does require work, and beating off for hours on end can be trying.

I don't have a cam....I think most customers only log in and just watch the one guy doing the camming....along with writing chitchat if interested......only privacy concern is the credit card/name info you have to give to the main site if you want to buy credits.....credits allow you a lot more leeway in making special requests of the cammer or in being able to join private shows cammers often give.....but watch it!!....these cam sites can get addictive $$$$......

I don't think the Chaturbate cams work from the client to the broadcaster at all, meaning I don't think they even connect to your camera. But either that or if you use something else (like arrange to Skype) you can always tape over your camera. Low-tech but effective.
