Full body Gumby suit. Parked my car a couple blocks from usual work parking, walked into a sales meeting in full Gumby costume, kept in character 30 mins until someone put the pieces together and figured out who I was. Won for best costume of the day.

I dressed in drag for a Halloween party around 2002. I got the dress from a guy who swore that Aretha Franklin had once worn it. My older sister surprised me and gave me makeup tips.

In college, I used Halloween as an excuse to wear slippers to class. Any costume I could create with that involved slippers, I did it.

In the mid 80s I made two hinged walls from plywood - front and back -- they had shoulder straps

and a waist belt - painted the panels black cut holes in the appropriate place front and back -- stained the walls with Elmers glue - wore a black jock and black leather boots -- and went as a gloryhole wall.

 

Depending on position I could give or get bj/hj/or get fcked or fuck -- That was a fun night!

Built a small box my head fit into and went as Jambee (sp?) from Peewee’s Playhouse. My friends went as other characters. Very well received.

Jambi was fabulous, and kinda sexy.. I think I had a crush on him when I was a kid. "Mekka Lekka Hi Mekka Hieny Ho"

I don't have a photo, but Halloween 1991 I dressed up as Barbara Bush. I was 11 years old.

 

And my parents were surprised a few years later when I came out...
