Maybe it was getting a lot of likes but not getting any actual business? I know a waiter at a fairly fancy restaurant who went by "Frederick", very solemn & old-fashioned in his demeanor to customers, and it wasn't working. He started going by "Freddie" and put on a much more friendly, almost TGI-Friday's personality, and his tips went up.
