Unless other members come forward and say they didn’t have a good time with Mike because they are black, it’s pretty unfair to make that implication here. Spencer has admitted he won’t see Asians. As far as I know, no one has reported the same type of thing about Mike. There have been providers that people here seem to think walk on water where I’ve had a mediocre time. Others where people have not had good experiences and I’ve totally enjoyed myself. I don’t throw the race card and just chalk it up to chemistry.

I do agree people should just be upfront about it to save everyone’s time. Own it.

Please re-read what I wrote. No one called him a racist. The point was that when you have to deal with "racial" issues like this you begin to question every situation, as it's always in the back of your head. I don't assume that everyone I meet is racist obviously. But when you know it's "possible" and you have a negative situation with someone, it crosses your mind always.

It's like being pulled over as a minority by a cop, you prepare for the worst and hope for the best. I'm not sure your life experience allows you to understand why someone's mind can start from that place of suspicion.

Also note, I didn't even call Spencer a racist. I just said he had racial issues as an escort.

We good?

To be rejected for your race is a pain that can't be easily described and sadly one Asians, Indians, and sometimes blacks experience all too often. It is white privilege to both not have to experience it and own the power of rejection.

I feel the need to point out this is one area where white privilege doesn't really exist. Perhaps it is less common, but I have been rejected by guys I was interested in many times because they were "only into asian guys", or "only into latin guys", etc. I think there are lots of guys of all races who have their preferences, and most all of us have experienced this sort of rejection at one time or another.

As for hiring, I am older and a bit overweight. When I contact a provider, I give them all of my vital statistics to let them decide if they are willing to take me as a client and avoid all of their questions later.

This issue is always such a sticky point. I'm sure people would be equally upset when escorts say "No Fats, No Fems" as well. My issue with these type of people is how I have to navigate their issues. Anytime I approach an escort who's of a different race, I have to wonder if they will either: Not reply back or say they aren't into my race. The worst is when they do show up and then don't perform. It makes you wonder why they can't perform. Happened to me with Mike Gaite who people love on here. Was it racial, no idea. but it makes me wonder why this person can't perform for me, but get glowing reviews.

I think it would be more honest if he replied in every response to an inquiry, " So you are aware, I am not available for appts with the following ethnicities...."

This way he's being upfront about his limitations. Instead he hides behind asking what race the inquirer is and then rejecting them or not responding. Thus causing the inquirer to feel negative and possibly inadequate.

He should own his limitations, so that people can make a choice to deal with a limited person, or move on by full disclosure at every inquiry. Much like if you go to any other service provider and they say, we don't serve Gay people. That info would be good to know as early as possible.

Nyblkguy makes an interesting point when he says that Spencer Whitman should bluntly tell interested clients like kenomara in his first response that he doesn’t do business with Asians, Blacks, Latinos or other non-whites, despite his tired, Archie Bunker-like claim to forum member TJnDb that “many of his best friends are (fill in the blank with a non-white ethnic group)”. But as hurtful as Forum member Kenomara may have found Whitman’s method of communicating his long known practice of racial profiling, it may actually be marginally better (slightly less hurtful) than the method used by two well-reviewed White NYC Rentmen escorts, who also limit their business to white clients, but utilized a more frustrating and hurtful response for the times when my black partner as well as my Latino coworker reached out to them.

If forum member NYblkguy’s name is an indication of both his race and home city, feel free to PM me on these two nyc escorts so that you don’t have to encounter what Kenomora, or worse, what my two nonwhite NYC friends encountered when they repeatedly encountered these two escorts who also profile racially.

PM me too, I’m in the same boat.

I’ve come around to the view that it is better when someone includes their racist... I mean racial preferences in their profiles. I simply block them and in a few weeks, I forget they exist.

Aaannnddd this is what I received two seconds later from Spencer after telling him I'm Asian: "You’d have more fun with another escort." Welp, I guess I would!

I didnt know that about him in regards to Asian, now it all makes sense, when I contacted him he was not nice at all, he had an attitude with me and I was expecting him to be real nice.

Unfortunately he can't just come out and say it on his RM profile. Not to mention that would be a form of discrimination in itself. Everybody but.. XYZ.

He could come out and say it on his profile, it would save a lot of us some time. what do you think it is when he tells the asians he does not want them as clients because they are asians, is that not discrimination, so discrimination is discrimination, whether you put it on your ad, or tell them to their face or on the phone, I rather he be up front and put it on his ad, it will save him and all of us asians lots of time and anguish.

just to clarify here for everybody, Asntop is addressing ken as his "Asian brother"......the sentence structure makes it appear that MikeyHawk is Asian and he is not......by the way, have met with Mikey a couple or three times and he's a good guy......smart and energetic

I know Wklucas' comment about Spencer was meant to be snarky, but it perfectly illustrates white privilege.

He can go "call on" pretty much any provider when he wants to. For myself and certain others, the very first thing I do is ask them "are you okay with clients of my ethnicity."

If the reply is no, we spare ourselves an uncomfortable in-person rejection. If the reply is yes, it can still create a dynamic where the patron still feels "less than" because he had to ask in the first place. But in my experience, better to check than get rejected.

Must be nice if you don't have to think or deal about such things.

Anyway, I digress. If anyone knows tops -- particularly African American ones -- who don't have any racial requirements and are legit (I ask this because a number have been identified on this board as using fake pics), the recommendations would be appreciated.

I couldn't scroll past this and not give my link to my profile. No racial requirements here haha.
