For some reason, in the last week or so, about half dozen clients have visited my profile page on RM. None of them have any sort of bio, info or photos. Should I remove mine? It never occurred to me when I set it up, but is it weird to have those in place like the escorts do?

Good question. I asked myself just that when I joined RM last month. Personally, I chose to add a description of who I was and what I was looking for, just so that it's crystal clear. But do I add a picture? I figured I can just send pictures to a prospective hire when things go further. Feels transparent enough, but still "safe". Maybe it's turning off some escorts, but I ain't ready to completely be out there yet.

Seriously, though, you post info about yourself on RM for the benefit of escorts you may reach out to, not for other clients who happen across your profile. Base what you say on your target audience.

I have several paragraphs in mine describing what I am looking for and what is important and unimportant to me.

In my first contact with a potential companion suggesting a meeting on a specific date/time I also ask that they look at my profile and let me know if they think our interests align.

No one has ever said “no” or even a qualified “yes” but it’s a way to levelset expectations on what I would consider to be a successful or particularly unsuccessful meeting.

I feel like if I don’t tell someone what I want then there’s no way I’m going to get it. It’s a zero-cost insurance policy on the $$$ investment I’m going to risk on someone’s time.

It doesn’t always work but I think it helps well-intended companions.

I've experienced the same thing, but I am not contemplating deleting any information. To me, the profile is a good way for an escort to get some information about what I like and dislike and I'm not concerned about what other RM members do or don't do.

I get a fair number of questions about my RM reviews, which I’m perfectly happy to answer.

On a handful of occasions, however, inquirers have been really weird and begun asking about really explicit details.

Creepy.

They get blocked.

I don't see any reason to provide profile information as a client. When I'm reaching out to an escort I can provide him with any information he would need at that time. Any information I would include in my profile just contributes unnecessarily to my online digital footprints.
