I know there's a couple members here who may be from or in the area.

Haven't been here since I think, a couple years but like once last year.

Having lived and traveled different cities, it's a wonder how sunny it stays here. I've not seen a cloud now in nearly 7 days. What do they look like? Rain. What does it smell like?

Okay kidding. But yeah it's nice out here. Now, if it could just be a tad bit busier. Maybe another client or 2 would be great. I know it tends to be busy or not busy suddenly here.

You should have been here for the monsoon and the haboob (dust storms). The microburst back in summer that cracked a tree into five pieces before my eyes was pretty freaky. Outside of the monsoon, I have seen rain occasionally in winter and a couple of times in spring.

Have you been there in summer ? Sedona is wonderful, but not prime escort country.

Sedona is ethereal, especially after sunset. The whole valley glows red, with no source of illumination.

If it weren't so bloody expensive, and relatively out-of-the-way, I'd move there.

Also I like water.

It's a dry heat. Use plenty of moisturizer and sunscreen.

I'm definitely noticing a difference. When I'd come down straight from Denver...I'd be like, this dry heat makes no difference....heat is heat.

But, when it was 90-99 degrees in Florida like it's been here all week...I was sweating the second I stepped out the door, and the sky in Florida this summer was hazy and cloudy and rained every day. I hiked around North Mountain shirtless the other day, and was completely sweat free.

Florida got lucky, if I were building Disney or Universal Studios, I'd of come to Phoenix first lol. However, I notice all the Palm trees here are chopped up to leave nothing but a few little top leaves. But I guess for water conservation, they have to remove most of the leaves. In Florida the trees are more full looking. However, haven't been back yet since Irma.

Hmmm...I don't do dust storms lol. Definitely don't need an asthma attack happening. But yah, I guess the Haboob is like an Arizona version of a hurricane.

I've not been to Sedona yet...but have been between here and flagstaff and other areas of the state. That said, since we're on the topic, now for some bad press on Arizona lol...

I have a couple reservations with Arizona that made me unsure to consider moving here. Don't take it as "knocking" it, but...I'm not sure if Arizona in general is prime escort country.

For one, there just seems to be so many sketchy characters (panhandlers, crazies, druggies, etc.) out here. I mean, they're friendly and "harmless" long as you say hi and bye. But it almost gives the whole city a low class vibe. Certain hotels and stores are not up to the standards in the area, and it can be hard to come by. Idk if that's the job market, or year around heat, or just the Wild Wild West. Or perhaps Phoenix is like that, but the surrounding outer areas like Buckeye and Scottsdale and Tempe or where all the nicer stuff is being built.

Also the drivers here aren't the worst, but I just avoid them. In addition, I've often known Arizona to be a decent place money wise, but like this past week...you get these dead periods where nothing is happening and that's a bit disconcerting to me. That tends to happen more times than I would care for.

Seems like one of those places where after a year, I'll probably be ready to move on unless I had another work or network of friends going.
