Capitano Posted January 25, 2019 Author Posted January 25, 2019 They keep going and going, there must be enough naive (and horny) people in this word that go for the stupid iTunes scam: https://rentmasseur.com/Nyom PS Check out the language on this one!
rvwnsd Posted January 25, 2019 Posted January 25, 2019 Dart-throwing continues, Estonia, New Orleans, Santa Fe, Fort Lauderdale, and the ad is in Portuguese LOL: https://rentmasseur.com/branc Maybe some automated bot shit that has infected rentmasseur? This is becoming ridiculous, the typical recipe as of late: (hot pictures) + (a random collection of 3 smaller to mid-sized cities) + (a non-English ad) https://rentmasseur.com/Richies Whenever you recognize the pattern you are likely to be asked to make an advanced payment using some stupid iTunes code. Rentmasseur should really crack down on this shit. It is interesting that this kind of scam is so persistent, it must be that they are able to get money out of some people. Whenever you notice a strange choice of multiple locations at the same time and a flaky ad text, it's time to be skeptical. Prediction: They'll want advance payment via iTunes code. https://rentmasseur.com/nael Home: Paris, France Huntington, Jan 16 - Feb 15 Casper, Jan 16 - Feb 15 Indianapolis, Jan 16 - Feb 15 They could be getting less obvious, but remarkably suspicious ads keep popping up on rentmaseur: https://rentmasseur.com/MARKUZz_LATIN A masseur without a phone number?! Let me guess: reach them by email only to be asked for the stupid iTunes code? Now, these two appeared in Chicago out of the blue, but I am skeptical: https://rentmasseur.com/GabrielBrazil https://rentmasseur.com/Felipe_Fernandes Probably the same person, or the same operation, appear "available" at the same time, virtually identical ads, other than the pix. And why would they list "hairy" if the pix show otherwise? They keep going and going, there must be enough naive (and horny) people in this word that go for the stupid iTunes scam: https://rentmasseur.com/Nyom PS Check out the language on this one! Capitano Posted January 25, 2019 Author Posted January 25, 2019 Yep, I know this may be shocking to some, but there's fake ads! The next relevant question is how to recognize one, to avoid wasting time and maybe even money. The scams are clearly evolving, that's why I created and keep posting in this thread. + bashful and Mr. Jones 2

Typical Posted January 25, 2019 Posted January 25, 2019 Apparently there are still folks who send $5,000 to the very nice Nigerian lady who really, truly wants to send $10 million to their bank account if only she could get the processing/handing/insurance fee...and the bank account number!!! I suppose we should make an effort to warn people about the multitude of scam artists if we can, right? Money or iTunes cards up front = a scam. Every. Single. Time. Capitano, Moe and mystery_man 3

Capitano Posted February 1, 2019 Author Posted February 1, 2019 This could be a new trend, the same old shit (hot pix, random collection of 3-4 cities in America, generic text of the ad, stats that don't seem consistent) but now they don't even bother to get a US phone number or to pay for the ad: https://rentmasseur.com/Onos I guess whoever contacts them via email will be asked for the stupid iTunes card code and never hear from them again. The puzzling part is that there obviously are some people who go for this. PS The dude in those pix is either taller or lighter, there is no way he could be 5'9" and 185 lbs., the pix are almost certainly stolen, if it were him he'd know his stats.

Capitano Posted February 13, 2019 Author Posted February 13, 2019 Going to Indy soon, it's fascinating that more than 50% of the ads on rentmasseur seem bogus. This iTunes scam is taking over the better of the two masseur sites we have left :-(

niceandthick Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 Going to Indy soon, it's fascinating that more than 50% of the ads on rentmasseur seem bogus. This iTunes scam is taking over the better of the two masseur sites we have left :-( I have made it a mission over the past two weeks to hunt down the itunes scammer ads and report them to RentMasseur. I have reported 60+ ads thus far. RentMasseur has been very responsive in removing the ads. Most are removed within a couple hours of my reporting them. However, it's like a wack-a-mole game. As the webmaster is removing the ads, a couple others pop up. Marc in Calif 1

niceandthick Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 Thank you, I am going to join you in your fight! Do you send them an email and when they respond present that to rentmasseur as evidence? No. The ads are clearly recognizable. When I see one, I click on the Contact RentMasseur.com link at the bottom of the page, and paste in the url. The Webmaster sends me an email when the ads have been removed. There are four of them out there right now that I have reported, but have not yet been removed. Check them out to see if you can see the pattern before they are removed: https://rentmasseur.com/mckale https://rentmasseur.com/dahir https://rentmasseur.com/zavier https://rentmasseur.com/byronn

Capitano Posted February 17, 2019 Author Posted February 17, 2019 Looks like rentmasseur is trying to crack down on the stupid iTunes hoax. Now, if we could do something about city-bating, this seems like a totally bogus "travel schedule" to me: https://www.masseurfinder.com/massage-therapists/37798/ Feb. 18 - 19: Nashville, TN Feb. 19 - 20: St Louis, MO Feb. 20 - 21: Kansas City, MO Feb. 21 - 22: Louisville, KY Feb. 22 - 23: Indianapolis, IN Feb. 23 - 24: Memphis, TN Feb. 24 - 26: Dallas, TX I have no interest in contacting the masseur when I see shit like this even if I might be interested otherwise. Come to my city and then we can talk.

Come to my city and then we can talk. They've actually been doing a schedule like that for as long as I remember. They're constantly on the move and never stay in any one place more than a day or two. I think they've always pretty much remained in the South. I can understand not wanting to contact them, I'd expect they'd be tired from all that travel and would give a mediocre, at best, massage. Wake up early, maybe have a very early morning appointment or two, check out, drive to the next city, check in and have an evening of appointments ... rinse and repeat. I get exhausted just looking at their schedule.
Capitano Posted February 17, 2019 Author Posted February 17, 2019 They are spending 2 days in their 7th city, the first 6 cities are only 1-night stays. There could be some mysterious reason but to me this seems like a bad signal. If they are good they should have more than a single day's worth of clients in a city like St. Louis or Nashville. And loyal ones too, who would be alienated if they are unable to catch them during the 4-6 hour window they have because they are constantly on the move. I call this hit-(the market)-and-run. Next!

Yeah, I don't like it either, but the process has become popularly used by the majority of the traveling masseurs lately. They plan two days in each city, book a centrally located hotel and churn and burn one hour clients with massages that last 47 minutes, giving them time to prep and greet the next appointment. I suppose it's fine for some people, and obviously it must be profitable, but it's a sweatshop, cattle call way of doing business and I avoid them.

Well, I could live with that, but these guys are doing 6 one-night stays in a row, WTF?! Then, there is the ad that suggests only one guy (Alejandro), but then they talk about 4 hands. To me, all that screams STAY AWAY!
Capitano Posted September 30, 2019 Author Posted September 30, 2019 Another obvious scam: Nice pix, stats that make no sense (265 lbs. give me a break!), and Indy, Pittsburgh, and Atlanta all at the same time. Yeah, right... https://rentmasseur.com/Nicolasboy
