Just where is Mr. Munroe? Unless I'm mistaken (the heat, perhaps) he hasn't filed a post in days, maybe weeks. The Munroe Monument, ditto: nothing since early July. Is he cooling off in the Canadian Rockies, taking pictures of Derek with some Mounties, as it were?

Two weeks ago Rick wrote here stating that his partner is in college and has a lot of papers to write; thus a paucity of blogs here from him. Rick stated that they have only one computer!

Well, according to a false and libelous post by the Rick-Munroe-obsessed woodlawn on that other nasty message board, "A correspondent in New York writes that the NY escort world is abuzz with rumors that dear old Rick has been #### de combat lately due to a nasty bout of syphilis." Isn't it funny how I'm always the last to know? :o (Gee, I wonder why his trusty anonymous "source" stopped at mere syphillis? Why not toss in herpes, genital warts and full-blown AIDS?) I don't think anyone takes that site (or woodlawn) seriously, but for the record, I've never had syphillis (or any STD for that matter), and with my neurosis for health and hygiene, I hopefully never will.

 

Now...to answer you guys, Axiom is correct. Derek has been taking post-graduate classes and I have been giving him his space to do his schoolwork, and when we aren't escort-working, we've been at the beach doing tanline maintenance and splashing around with cute guys in the water. I actually made a few attempts to post to my blog, but I kept getting distracted. But I really, really appreciate this thread, and the emails I've been getting asking for more posts, and I will be back-on-track when Derek's classes end this month. It's a good feeling to know that people notice when I'm away.

 

HOWEVER...having said all that, I think it might be a bit difficult for me to pry my eyes away from the TV when my latest amazon DVD shipment arrives this week. It consists of: Mary Tyler Moore Season 2 (at last!), The Nanny Season 1, Gilligan's Island Season 3, Saved by the Bell Season 5, Lost in Space Season 3, and The Brady Bunch Season 2. So, if I disappear again, now you'll know the reason why. :+

To be fair, Woodlawn reported that his sources say that there's only a 50% chance that you had the disease. Seems like fair and unbiased reporting to me. Just like the Fox News Network.

P.S. No beach today and Derek is not going to be home and the emails/ posts above have made me feel guilty so I will be blogging today.

Correct me if I am wrong but I believe it was P.T. Barnum who said "Always leave em wantin more."

 

I surmized that Mr. Munroe was just a wise practitioner of the Barnum

philosophy and was leaving me wanting more. At any rate the lady who cleans my home appreciates that there has been a lesser amount of drool on the desk and keyboards in Mr. Munroe's absence.

 

Best wishes to Derek in his educational endeavors and I await breathlessly Mr. Munroe's next blog.

I know, it's been a month but no excuses this time. I've been preoccupied with Katrina, the beach, and a book project. But the fun will resume tomorrow night.
