Anyone familiar with these 2? Some cities I find seem to have a weird vibe I can't put my finger on, and it seems to determine the outcome of an escorting trip.

As we can see, St. Louis is going through another social unrest period due to their race relation issues in the city. I've found on multiple occasions that St. Louis is not a good town to be a Black escort in (Though, there's a guy I know who claims to have worked for an agency there and made tons of money...but it's very suspect and claims to revolve around getting clients drugged up and not having sexual with them) The guys in St. Louis flake all the time...and oft times I've passed through the city without even stopping because I know placing an ad will just lead to frustration and aggravation.

Recently, I made a trip to Madison Wisconsin where I've been going for years and noticed similar things. I always thought the people up there were nice and friendly. Which they are...in the farm country. But, as I got down to the nitty gritty and started doing normal "stuff" around town, I started hearing some ignorant things I didn't like. For an up north state, it felt like Kentucky or Arkansas in some ways.

Both places seem to have in common massive amounts of flakes; who are generally White guys and few or no actual meetings with Black clients. At the same time, it seems like interracial relationships are very popular in these two cities. What's up with that? It's hard to understand.

I have no idea what's up with St. Louis and Madison. If those cities are full of flakes, cross them off your list, and find two others where your services are welcome.

LOL.. it was just a question I had proposed to myself and then answered. However, now that you mention it - I would actually like to know Mocha's answer to it...

"If you won the lottery and could live anywhere in the world, then where would you choose to live?" My answer? Kentucky. I adore Kentucky.

I just got back from spending several days in KY. Enjoyed the Mohammed Ali Center in Louisville - he's long been a personal hero of mine. Driving the country roads was lovely - did not do a single mile on interstates or freeways, and there was little or no traffic on the back roads.

In Lexington I went to the KY Horse Park and rode a horse for the first time in 20 years. They are good at hooking you up with the right one based on your height, weight, age and experience level. They matched me up with a pervy stud named Bulldog. The horses went in single file, and Bulldog always seemed to be most comfortable with his face right in the tail end of the horse in front of him. I think we were a good match. And in case you are wondering, I did not bareback him, although I suspect he would have been OK with it.

Under the "Blue Moooon of Kentucky keep on a' shinin'... shine on the one that's gone and left me blue..." Another reason I love Kentucky - the old, classic country music. Such good, GOOD stuff!

% of Blacks in the US population: 13.3%

% of Blacks in Madison, WI, population: 5.8%

while Madison fancies itself a progressive, liberal, hip town, I think much of the population is of the White, Volvo/Subaru, "I care, but really just want to make a donation, don't ask me to get my hands dirty" type.....have never been to Madison, but can guess the trendy "gastropub" downtown is pretty white bread.....reminds me of this 48-year old National Lampoon satire I also posted in "Friday Funnies" today:

Yes! For me, Kentucky conjures memories of horseback riding, winding country roads, hilly countryside, covered bridges... it's beautiful and serene.

I lived in Florence KY for 2 years while I was training staff of a company I worked for that was relocating, and was BORED out of my mind. The Gay nite life was so "small".....
