Insight Into Cancellations?

So usually I don't have trouble finding business and that business has been stable.

 

I usually go 2-3 days max without business when I'm looking and once someone sets a meeting, it's rarely changed.

 

Oddly, this past 2 weeks+, I've had 6-7 back to back cancellations of already set up meetings with no successful ones and I'm not sure why. I'm wondering if it has to do with rentmen changes to hiding rate? I keep it low at 250, but if a client might be talking to multiple providers and now haggling might be present, am I getting undercut?

 

Just trying to figure it out haha.

Could just be a fluke without any explanation. The RM rate listing could be an issue but isn't this discussed at some point when setting the appointment in your exchanges with the clients?

 

One other possibility could be a rival is spoofing you trying to tie up your schedule. This has been known to happen in some markets.

I wouldn't say 250 is low, but also I don't think that's the reason. For one you say you're in Chicago, they're known for doing that.

 

But 2, been dealing with it too. It's been crazy. But you know I find this always starts happening anytime there's race riots or hurricanes or presidential elections. It makes you just want to not advertise for a couple weeks...but when traveling, that can't be afforded to do that.

 

This past week I had 2 regulars cancel or postpone overnight sessions. Had couple other regulars cancel. And then some newbies. It's been a category 5 hurricane in my damn schedule. I was planning a extensive trip this weekend, yesterday I freaked out and decided not to go until the system fully dissipates and I get some more responses.

 

Fortunately, I did have a couple new clients show up and not cancel. So it's going to get better, but it's probably just going to be catching them when you can versus making plans. Once things level out, they'll start coming back out...

Yes... regarding the "spoofing", filling up your schedule with Clients, (who may or may not exist), due to Escort rivalrygrudges, (and sometimes using the help of their befriended Clients), happens.

I know several such escorts who have done that to their rivals~ Very sad and very petty~ A discrace to their own character~ Eventually, the "who done it" slips out and down the pipeline~
