I'd like the opinion of people who hire as to if I'm overreacting on this or not.

 

I did a fetish scene yesterday with an escort who also does some porn.

 

I was blindfolded for part of the scene and it turns out the escort videoed part of the scene without my ok. A friend of mine who knows the stuff I am into follows this escort on facebook (he is a fan of his video work even though I am not that familiar with his video stuff) and the way I found out he videoed it was my friend saw the clip on the escorts facebook page and even though you couldn't see me in the clip my friend recognized my voice and the escort had the area he was in and my friend put two and two together. My friend had no idea I hired guys and this is what really pisses me off.

 

My friend thinks I'm over reacting since only the escort is shown in the video and he didn't mention my name (I got on the escorts facebook and it looks like he videos about 30 to 60 seconds of a couple sessions a month but only shows himself and not the clients but the voice isn't masked).

 

I really feel that the escort acted imaproppriately videoing it without my ok and putting it on facebook (to be honest I probably would have given him the ok to video it if he would have asked up front as long as he shared the video with me and agreed to mask my voice out before publishing it).

 

My friend thinks I'm totally overreacting to this since I wasn't shown in the video and my name wasn't mention.

 

Just curious as to how other guys on here that hire would feel if it happened to them

It's not ok,

 

The posting of a video...or audio...of someone in a private

situation. ...without their explicit consent....is not ok..

 

period.

Downright criminal behavior and shows real lack of judgement. You should have him remove it and also post his name here. With that sort of attitude he may be doing hidden videos of others.

Something similar happened to me about 9 years ago. I wasn't 100 percent sure that our session was recorded but he kept looking over at the desk where his laptop was open. He would also move me around and would cover my face with the blanket or pillow. That was likely to hide my identity, at least he had that much courtesy I guess. I checked his website and which had old clips from his porn career and JO clips. There were other clips with guys but none that reminded me of our session. I decided not to make an issue but resolved never to hire the guy again. He subsequently retired about a year later.

 

Perhaps you should try the direct approach and ask him if he posted such a video. If that is the case, ask him to remove it as it's posted without your consent. If he refuses the report it to FB

If you met him through Rentmen and exchanged messages via their messaging service you can report him to them. I'd include a link to the video if you do.

No waiver was signed, if an escort ever asks me to sign anything I'm out of there:)

 

I sent him a polite message a few minutes ago on RM's messenger service (I didn't want to use facebook since I don't want my real name used) telling him I didn't like the video on facebook and either wanted it taken down or my voice blocked out. Now that I think about it I should have just told him to remove it. I honestly would have had no issues with it being recorded since only he is shown in the video if he would have asked but it really pissed me off he recorded it without my ok, it looks like it was a cell phone quality video.

It does not matter if your face is shown or not. He needs your permission to take the video.

 

Another case is when friends tag you on their Facebook posts and you're not even in the photo. That's when I unfriend them. Overreact to that motherf***** LOL
