Don't they know about Internet search...?

I'm not not going to post any specific details here, but recently an ad appeared on an escort site advertising a straight man for hire with a profile and picture that I found quite hot. Since it was a new ad, there were no reviews anywhere and I didn't think it was worthwhile asking about him here.

So I searched the Internet on his phone number...

...and found his real name and address

...and his Facebook page with the same photo he used in his ad.

The search actually verified several of the details that he included in his ad, for example that he is married.

I guess I'm shocked that there are still people who don't realize how easy it is to look up their information on the web.

Now I'm wondering if I should tell him what I discovered. Meanwhile, I'd also like to set something up with him, assuming that his ad isn't a joke of some kind.

What to do?

And after being nudged by a private reply, I did send him a message to let him know that his personal information was discoverable on the Internet.

When in doubt, ask yourself what you would want someone else to do if the situation were reversed.

Well, I believe we have a happy ending. After leaving the message informing him that his number was searchable, I saw that he had logged into his account but not read my message. I really began to wonder if his ad might have been some sort of gag placed by someone else. So I decided to call his number. No answer. Voicemail. I decided not to leave voicemail but to text him.

"A gay escort ad has been placed using your number and your photo. Was it a joke?"

His reply: "No sir."

So I told him to go read the message that I left for him. He did, he thanked me, and he removed his number from his ad.

Since you have already befriended him, you might want to send him another message suggesting he check out the many advantages of Google Voice. You'll be his best friend by the time you meet. :)

Again, no details, but I once did a simple phone number search and it led right to his company's page for each sales person. This in turn led to several community service pages including some that would not be pleased AT ALL with his second life.

I dropped him a note and he thanked me. Later contact information was changed. We eventually met up and had a hot time and I didn't make a point of our previous contact.

One little tidbit that I still find amusing. Based upon the information that I found by searching the Internet, he posted his correct age. Apparently he doesn't realize that escorts are supposed to shave at least five or more years off their true ages!

And add those years to penis size. :D
