a funny aside: I sorta laughed at the yahoo link above which suggests he died alone at home......I'd like to think John would've laughed at it, too......

I'm more concerned he was recuperating from back surgery at a hotel. I really think they've gone overboard in the drive-by surgery trend. I think if they put you under and cut you open they should be keeping you at least overnight.

At the risk of seeming creepy or insensitive, I'll admit tha I found him strangely attractive in his younger years. Anyone else?

I read this in someone's bio recently.

 

Heard was behaving like a jerk on a film set, and the director got back at him by saying "When I hired you, I thought I was getting John Hurt."
