Ironic... jocks in college rape women like crazy, yet hiring a prostitute might get them hiring.

On a more funny/sarcastic approach, what an idiot:

it's called natural selection...

Hmmmmm...Were the girls just for him? wonder if he requested the "rebel special"-two gals givin Coach Freeze ("Uncle Freezie") golden showers while he hollers the rebel yell.

Or were they routinely hired to impress potential recruits? I noticed the article pointed out how good he was at recruiting. And I doubt this is limited to Ole Miss

a God-fearing Baptist family man with three teen-aged daughters, his recruiting practices were already under heavy NCAA investigation....I wonder if the phone calls were only found by the school in an all-out effort by Ole Miss to just get him out.....

uncovered by former head coach Houston nuts (don't laugh) lawsuit against the school for defamation of character. Phone records uncovered by a freedom of information request

A familiar scenario here in the deep South. It's always the bible-thumpers and wingnuts, be they gay or straight.

yes, you're right....just read another article that says the phone records were requested by Nutt's lawyers as part of Nutt's suit against Freeze for defamation.....I guess they found the number and reported it to Ole Miss, which did further research and found the pattern of misconduct

Not sure I see the issue. Technically hiring an escort for companionship is not illegal. Were there restrictions on use of the phone for personal purposes? Or was he trying to get company reimbursement for personal use of phone? Is he married and has a morality clause in his contract? Lots of questions I know, just seems like another puritanical overreach.

Can't speak for Ole Miss, but my employer has us sign a form agreeing to all sorts of usage restrictions before we get our login credentials for email web access etc, and before we have our phone(s) turned on. It boils down to work only and specifically not for unconnected business purposes. I think this must be common. It does also specify nothing illegal, but as said above, hiring someone for companionship isn't illegal.

In reality, I don't think they trawl for the occasional personal call or email but a pattern would likely be noted. In the past part of the phone issue was cost, now with VOIP the cost even for international calls is insignificant. There is a tax issue with using a work issues decive for personal use as those costs are viewed as income, no one wants to deal with the mess, easier to just set a "don't do it" policy. I carry two phones and tablets. One set work and one personal.

Those states that consume the most porn tend to be more conservative and religious than states with lower levels of consumption, according to at least one well-known study.

Mostly, employers care about exposing the network to malware, etc. and wasting time while on the clock.

I got a second phone, after I went to work for an employer who knew no boundaries. It just became habit, even when I moved to new employers. It was mostly a convenience, in days when not every plan was unlimited minutes.... I didnt want my personal calls to be the reason I exceeded the minutes-allowance.

Just recently, I began using an app for texting with a number other than my cell #.

Not only do clients need an alternate phone number, but guys need to get a hobby email too. Recently, I received an email from a provider who sent a notice to every potential client in the city announcing his future travel dates. He carelessly grouped everyone together exposing our email addys, rather than "bcc"-ing us. It was not concerning for me since I use two different hobby emails and never a personal or work account, but clearly, some clients are using their personal and corporate emails. Just to see how foolish guys can be, I googled two of the corporate emails and easily discovered their identities. o_O

Unwanted/unnecessary attention from a little harmless hobbying can happen in a variety of ways.

Opinions differ. Also he is married, football is a secular religion touted as wholesome and family-friendly (assuming your family is okay with brain-rattling violence), and coaching is considered a leadership, role model type of activity. There is also probably a morals clause of some sort in his contract such as a prohibition of behavior likely to bring the school, program or himself into disrepute.

He couldn't be effective or respected in the community once the news got out.

Escorts:

When in doubt just check if the guy is contacting you with an app... and if you have to make a choice go for the guy who's cellphone provider is more credible, and follow your guts.

Good question for ask-an-escort.

Is contact via Verizon/Sprint/ATT more trustworthy than from 2nd tier like US West? Both more trustworthy than text from an app, or call on whatsapp-like program?

Plenty of talk about that subject already, no need for a new thread, specially when all of the sudden all the previous talk about this subject is forgotten and NOBODY ever used his own cell to call an escort...

An escorts who posts on here won't take appointments from Google Voice... where is he now?

Text app could be used by a flaky guy sending an escort to a hotel in the middle of... I guess all professions are risky.

Until this week, I used my own cell to call & text rentguys. Thats why Im curious, does my switch to a text app somehow detract from me as a potential client?

Ill search for other posts.

some escorts don't like to see "weird" phone numbers/service show up on their ID method.....even much-touted Google Voice is not always appreciated.....

like many here, I have a "burner" pay-as-you-go trac-style phone from Target for this hobby....pay cash and activate it using some fake info...pay cash when recharging.....
